We used Leahy Interior Design to steer us through an interior refresh on our home in Poway. The scope of work was focused on updating and modernizing our kitchen and two bathrooms, but also involved interior paint, lighting and updating two fireplace surrounds. Elizabeth did a great job of listening to my and my wife's differing ideas and synthesizing them into concepts that we were both happy with. Elizabeth is creative and has a good eye for bringing together style, color and overall themes. She was a good communicator and quickly responded to all our requests. I would not hesitate to use her again in the future.

My husband and I have worked with Elizabeth Leahy of Leahy Interior Design for close to ten years for several interior design projects. Elizabeth listens to us and really works with our visions. The best advise Elizabeth gave us during the process, she says, “You have to love it, not like it, LOVE it.” The “it” can be as simple as a lamp to a complete design makeover. We laugh now because my husband and I are always saying to each other, “Do you love it.”
Elizabeth has many relationships with people in the industry from painters, general contractors, carpenters, and even furniture makers. She helped design our entire lower level of our home and nailed it! Elizabeth is currently helping us with window treatments for our game room. You can tell Elizabeth knows our style now. She picked out about 10 fabric samples and we loved the same one which secretly was Elizabeth’s choice she thought we would pick out!
Elizabeth is friendly, accredited in the design industry, always accommodating to your design needs, and very professional. Elizabeth is always willing to learn more by attending conventions and even going through manufacturing facilities. When we were deciding on a quartz top for some built-ins for our master bedroom, Elizabeth visited and toured the Cambria plant. We would not do a design project without Elizabeth.
