This lightscape sucked badly. In 2022, the LA arboratum in Arcadia sucked too but they put on a descent one in 2023. In 2024, aracdia went without one so i came to this one in San Diego Botanical Garden. I figured they moved the lights and design to the san diego garden... if they did, they forgot a lot of lights.

It was bad, maybe having a Green Thumb doesn't translate into putting on a good light show. OR their 2025 lightscape will be better.

The lightscape was amazing as always, but the Lazer light show felt other worldly. It takes about an hour to complete if you are taking lots of pictures along the 1 mile loop.

Mike at Lightscape Designs installed lights at our home in Carmel Valley and then again added more lights a year or two later. They did an outstanding job but that's not the reason for the review. Something severed the cable to half of the lights in the yard recently, I called Mike and it was fixed within 24 hours. Anyone can install but the real value is in the follow up and service. Thanks Mike!!

Since we've moved into our bigger home recently, we have had quite a few enhancements to make it more beautiful, and I must say, of all the projects that we have had, the outdoor lighting that Mike and his team did has the most value (the beauty it creates compared to the money spent on it). The lights are so beautiful at night, and we got so many compliments from friends and families visiting our home.

Mike and his team did an outstanding job on our front yard and backyard lighting for us. He is an honest family man, very knowledgeable and experienced. He knows exactly where the location that needs light even during daytime where one normally cannot see it, and he knows how and where to add beauty to the outdoor with lights. His pricing is turnkey, no surprise or extra cost at completion, and very reasonable compared to other companies that we looked at. And he is licensed, unlike some of others who are not licensed.

Originally, we were just going to do the front yard for safety reason because it's kind of dark at night when we have guests walking in/out of our home. I have talked to a few companies, but after my conversation with Mike, we decided to go with Mike and Lightscape Design full fledge with both the front yard and backyard, and we have over 30 lights.

His working crew, with Alejandro, is very responsible for their work, clean, no mess, and they finished one day before schedule. Overall, we are very satisfied and happy with the entire experience, and we very much enjoy our lights every night! Highly recommend Mike Geier and Lightscape Designs.
