A friend recommended Lori's Half Price Mattress. I had never heard of it, and was happy to know there was a local mattress store I could go to in Sebastopol. My mom and I made an appointment with Lori to try out mattresses in her showroom. She was super helpful in finding the best mattress for what I needed. I was tired of a foam mattress that was hurting my back, and was surprised and happy to know most of her mattresses were not foam. The store is very clean and has a variety of quality mattresses to choose from. Lori was upfront, honest, and on the ball. After testing out a bunch of mattresses in the store, we ended up buying a Hughes PT Pleasant Queen mattress. Lori DELIVERED the mattress to my doorstep in her truck-- even helping to carry in the mattress to my home herself the same day for no extra charge. Fantastic service and product. We were happy to be able to support her local business, and highly recommend it to others.

Best service and a great price. If you are looking for a quality mattress that is affordable I would definitely recommend Lori's half price mattresses. The owner Lori is so kind and really is there to make sure you find the mattress that is right for you. I have had one of her mattresses for 6 years and it's still so comfortable! I only just bought another one because I left that one at my moms house for when I visit.

Two years ago, Lori did a great job helping me choose a moderately priced, good-quality mattress. She was patient with my questions and doubts and provided excellent information. I am writing a review now because I realize the mattress has held up well and remains comfortable. The mattress is still like new. I was shopping for a "mattress upgrade" for my 16-year-old son, who has been sleeping on a too-short twin bed for years, and I always prefer to shop locally at small businesses if possible. Fortunately, Lori's Half-Price Mattress came up in a web search, and I called the number right away. Lori met us at her conveniently located showroom in downtown Sebastopol, where she also maintains a small warehouse so that she can provide in-stock items for same-day delivery when possible. She was helpful and attentive, and she had a lot of helpful advice for finding my son the best mattress for his needs. She also has a policy of recommending affordable mattresses before moving on to higher-priced items, so she is clearly very honest and interested in helping her customers. I have already recommended Lori to friends in the area.

Oddly rude when calling the listed number to ask if anyone would be at the business (nobody has been there during business hours lately). Felt like I was interrupting her weekend. After an "Okay thank you, goodbye" I received the attached text. Bizarre behavior for a local business.

Just moved from Colorado and my furniture was destroyed by the driver who delivered our stuff, so I went to Lori's and bought a mattress and box spring for my son's room. It was fast, convenient, and reasonable. She'll was even willing to stay open upast her normal hours just to meet with me . Great customer service!

I bought a queen size Hughes pillow top mattress for the guest bedroom. It is very comfortable (I slept in it one night to try it out) and our guests have commented on how cozy it is as well. I am pleased with my purchase.
