Lowe's Home Improvement

I ordered a large item that was in stock and scheduled the delivery. With less than 12 hours notice they changed the order. Now the item won’t be delivered for 4 more days and all parts won’t be delivered and I am responsible for going to the other end of town to get them. In a nutshell, South Anchorage Lowe’s sold the item I bought to someone else instead of delivering it to me.

Tried to get estimates for carpet, windows and doors. No call, no show for window measurements. Called store back and they said manager would call me to resolve, a week later no call. Did receive estimate for carpet but did not include everything. Called corporate customer service, since no call back from store, typical run around. All they said was they are sorry about the run around. Ended the call by saying that customers are their number one priority. I beg to differ.

My experience at Lowe’s was very good. Bismark and Ringo specifically gave great help to me whilst I was looking for things within the store and they also gave good suggestions as well. Easy 5 stars

I have visited this location 4x and called them 7x to get a storm door install. It is impossible to talk to anyone in millworks - even the Lowe’s 800 # could not reach them, and this no one has been able to help me. I have spent about 3 hours on this project. On my 4th I store visit, I assured the door would be delivered today and the installer would come today as well. I specifically asked how they were going to coordinate the delivery and the install and I was assured they would handle it. The door got delivered, but the installer never arrived. Miracle of miracles, a 17-minute phone call got me to a person and she said the install was never scheduled at all. I will NEVER shop at Lowe’s again. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience and there is no resolve to date except that I have a door sitting in my living room. Save yourself and go elsewhere people?

I tried to return an item, a piece of pvc, in perfect condition, that I had the receipt for and it was 10 days past their 90 day return policy, and they wouldn’t take it back or even give me store credit. I wasn’t even aware of such a ridiculous return policy. Well Lowe’s, I hope that $30 dollars was worth losing a customer forever! I have spent thousands of dollars there over the last 3 years, and now, even if I have to drive across town, I will NEVER shop at Lowe’s again. Customers beware!!!

I want to give a HUGE shout out to Chloe K. who went above and beyond when helping me pick out and design my kitchen cabinet layout. She was so patient and worked really hard to make my vision happen. Her ability to think outside the box is unreal. I was having a difficult time envisioning what my kitchen would look like (even though I could see the picture) so Chloe literally pulled the kitchen cabinets off of the shelves and lined them up so I could see it before me in-person. That was incredibly thoughtful and helpful for her to do that & I havent seen customer service like that in a hardware store in a long time (and I’ve done a full house remodel with all Lowes products before). Chloe, keep up the great work! Your extra attention to detail has not gone unnoticed! Someone give that woman a raise.

I was helped by Charry today at Anchorage AK, Old Seward store: She assisted me with a complicated return item. She paid attention to details and my return item worked out. I was impressed and will patronize this store in the future for all my hardware shopping; much appreciated, Paul

Even though my visit got a little long and drug out, once I found out my phone order had been pulled and was ready to go, things went smoothly. There is a gal there who has been super helpful the past few times I have been there. I'll get her name later and post it. She deserve the recognition.
