We've had an exceptional experience shopping for our newly remodeled space at Maker & Moss. Briana has been a pleasure to work with. I love her mellow, no-pressure approach. She had great recommendations and worked within our budget to help us find pieces that worked for our parameters. I really appreciated the design appointment in their beautiful showroom and in a previous visit I was even able to take a sample chair home to try out. We ended up having to exchange our dining table for an unforeseen reason and the return process was seamless. I recently ordered a desk and some side tables and as usual the customer service has been exceptional! I highly recommend Maker & Moss to anyone looking for a personalized furniture shopping experience with high-quality pieces. We plan to return as we continue to work on different areas of our home.

They can order many of the same brands that you might see on well-known websites, but add value in their design sense and product knowledge, and in every aspect of customer service. Great team here at Maker & Moss. As someone in the furniture industry, the stores frequently don't have control as they aren't making the product. This team sources beautiful, unique items for purchase and deals with the same struggles that I did coming from Furniture Retail at Crate & Barrel. Thumbs up!

As a designer, I first visited their shop on Hayes St as a patron 10 years ago. Since then, they have always been a reliable resource for furnishings and home decor. As I am familiar with the perils of the furniture industry, shipping complications, etc. Matt and his team have always gone above and beyond to assure my client’s orders go as smooth as possible. I look forward to collaborating with Matt for many years to come.

Do not order from this company. Back in February I ordered a tray that was not packaged appropriately so it arrived broken. Graciously they ship me a replacement item. Unfortunately, that item was also not packaged correctly and also arrived broken. I then asked for a refund which they said they would process, but I still have not received my refund over a month later. In the meantime, they will not respond to any of my emails asking where my refund is. Do not order from this company!

Horrible experience! I ordered a 3d printed frame for my mom for Xmas in September. They told me in November the frame and print would not get to me until the end of January. I asked at the end of January and they said it was going to be longer. Never will I shop with these people again.

Unfortunately for the second time dealing with Maker and Moss ordering the same chair I’m really disappointed.

The service and follow up leaves a lot to wish for. Considering the value of the chair, I’d expect a lot better customer service and follow up.

No one has notified me that the process of this chair being delivered to me will be this lengthy. It’s really unacceptable. It’s not a made to order piece. So why is it taking this long? I placed the order on 4/26/23. No oral mention of the time frame for delivery…

Last week I was told the chair is already in North California, and I’m still lacking tracking? I’ve made multiple calls and emails, never received any solid time commitment. I’m promised follow up yet no one does, unless you repeatedly call. Everyone is nice but I didn’t order or pay for nice. I paid for a chair that 5 weeks later isn’t even on a dock of a delivery track.

I really wish I went with another company with the purchase.

Great customer service. I had to cancel my order due to a shipping delay, I received immediate and personal help from the staff and a very quick refund. Will order from Marker & Mark again for sure.
