Our project consisted of our back and 2 side areas with different zone area. It started with a dirt empty canvas. We wanted a grass area for kids to play. Then a fire pit area. We needed a pad for a shed, and walkways down both sides. Last we wanted a patio area that gave us a space for a gazebo and a bags game / knife/axe throwing alley. When the crew showed up, they were ready to get going and they did. I was amazed at how well done and how quickly things were getting done. They took my ideas, fine tuned it and made it happen. They absolutely killed the compass layout on the pergola patio. We couldn't be anymore happy with the final results. The crew was professional and stayed busy the whole time. Wouldn't hesitate to bring them in for phase 2.

Phenomenal! Lynn was our project manager, and Juan, the owner, were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone. They completed our yard in 8 hours. Excellent communication from beginning to end. Attaching a before, after, and the concept design once our vegetation has time to settle and bloom. So excited!!!

We were referred to Mesquite by a friend and (very) happy customer whose backyard looked phenomenal. Once we started working with Lynn and his team, we knew we had selected the right landscaping company! Lynn was very amendable to our budget, ensuring our backyard was what we wanted while keeping costs within what we requested. Lynn and team also worked seamlessly with our pool company, collaborating where necessary and also allowing 'space' to get things done in the right order. We have used Mesquite twice now as we recently moved homes - 1 front yard and 2 backyards designed by them! Neighbors, friends and other visitors have complimented our backyard over and over. We plan to use Mesquite for any future needs in our yard and highly recommend that others do the same!

I recently used Mesquite Landscaping for a new build. The landscape designer, Lynn, listened to every idea I had. We talked through which design aspects were unrealistic and came up with alternatives to satisfy my vision. He was very collaborative throughout the process. He presented me with several options, all with different price points, then we again worked through the design until I was both satisfied and within budget. On the day of installation Lynn came and did a final walkthrough with me, marking out exactly what was to be done, and even made a couple of changes to improve the aesthetic (with no additional cost.). He went through the plans with the foreman, and even came back a couple of times to ensure everything was going well. The crew was at least 10. They were so wonderful and worked so hard in the early August heat…I seriously don’t know how they do it. The project was completed the same day. The yard and front where the gravel and sand had been delivered were completely cleaned up. I did need to hose down a little but it was pretty minimal considering the amount of dust. The final product is beautiful and exactly to specification. I honestly have never worked with such a responsive contractor. My initial contact was returned the same day. The initial walkthrough was scheduled within 3 days. Design review was 1 week later. Installation was 4 weeks after that. Any question I had was answered thoroughly by Lynn, usually within 15 minutes. Lynn and the crew were here at the exact time they scheduled. I have since had random questions that I’ve texted to Lynn, and again, he responds almost immediately. I would absolutely recommend Mesquite Landscaping. Communication, timeliness, and quality were exceptional.

We received a brochure on our door from Mesquite. Setting up an appointment was quick and easy. Within a day or two Sal called us to set up an appointment to provide an estimate. Sal was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable. He delivered the 3D rendering at the promised time. Sal’s design was exactly what we were looking for! Once the contract was signed Sal suggested meeting at the nursery. This was such a helpful step! We just moved here from IL and AZ landscaping is very foreign to us. It was so helpful to see the various trees and plants Sal was suggesting. Sal said the project would be completed in 2-3 days as he was planning on a crew of 10. Unfortunately it took a full week as there was only a crew of 2. Sal said he would be here every day throughout the project. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. While he may have been here on most days, it was only for a very short time. It was extremely frustrating trying to communicate with the crew in placement of plantings given the language barrier and that we were trying to interpret the 3D video. Given what we paid for the job this was a task I should NOT have been involved in. All that said, in the end we are THRILLED with our new front and back yard. Sal was accommodating to all of our requests and mid-stream changes and even hand selected just the perfect foliage for us. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Joe & David. I’ve never seen 2 men work any harder than these two! David was always the first to arrive and sometimes the last to leave. Joe and I figured out how to communicate given the language barrier thanks to my very limited Spanish (and I mean 3-4 words!) and our hand gestures. Funny story, one day I thought Joe was asking if I was going to cook for him. I finally realized he was asking me if we had any Coke!!!! I would highly recommend Mesquite and will definitely recommend them as more neighbors move in. We couldn’t be happier and are looking forward to enjoying our “oasis” for years to come. Choosing to use Mesquite Landscaping was a wonderful experience for us! We chose Mesquite over the other bids we received for several reasons. The competitive price quote along with the 3D rendering, the attentiveness of the designer, amount of time the job was estimated to take and the warranty. The 3D rendering allowed us to see the vision our designer, Lynn, had for the yard. We didn't have to rely on our imagination and hope our visions aligned. It also showed how well he listened to our ideas and was able to incorporate them into the final design. We loved the ability to request changes and instantly see what it would look like. Their large crew arrived on time each day and finished the job in the promised time frame, 3 days. Our yard came out beautifully. They offer a warranty on both workmanship and plants. Warranty work, like replacing dead plants in the 90 day window, has been addressed quickly. We have and will continue to refer Mesquite Landscaping to our friends and family.

The afternoon I called to inquire about getting an estimate, I got a call back and the next day Salvador was walking the backyard! Making sure to take the time to ask what I was looking for and where I wanted everything placed. It was nice to not have to wait, as he was able to give me a quote before he left! Salvador sent over a 3D rendering which was very helpful to visualize the design. He kept me informed throughout the whole process. The crew came in on Friday and it was completed Saturday. They didn’t mind when I would ask questions and they always checked with me to see if I was happy. From start to finish, Salvador provided great customer service…something you don’t find everywhere. Now I can enjoy watching the plants and tree grow in my beautiful backyard!
