Working with Moniker Design has been incredible. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I am working with them on two projects.

1. They helped my wife and I design our gym that is about 5000 sq ft and fits 1000 members... They over delivered on everything... including: Coming up with inspiration, the final design, sourcing materials, providing construction documents to our contractor, and even answering the phone at 9pm when our contractor had questions. The gym looks great and will be a special business in our community for years to come.

2. They are currently helping me redesign some buildings at the church I work at. This has been a very different project as we have to work close with our church board and and fundraise for a capital campaign to fund the project. They have helped us get what we need as we move through each step. We are just now entering the design phase but I'm sure the results will speak for themselves when it's all complete.

Dear future Moniker Design client,

I researched and interviewed a handful of other designers for our vacation beach house. This was a new experience for me for someone who has minimal design intuition. When I encountered Moniker Design's website and after meeting lead designer, Emilia, I just knew. We were looking for a “hygge” design style (pronounced “hooga”). Hygge is “a Danish word that describes a cozy and content lifestyle that's centered around finding comfort in everyday life”.

Every step of the process with Emilia was organized, inspirational, personal, exciting and memorable. Their technology to visualize your home with options was incredibly helpful. The design ideas are inspired by you, yet she offers gentle suggestions which you would not otherwise consider.

I look back at this experience with such deep admiration for someone who brings natural talent, confidence and love to her work. When I walk into this space, I feel every sense of the word, “Hygge”, with its calming colors, comfort, practicality, connection from the bottom to top floor and really just perfection for our family.

Working with Moniker Design was an absolute pleasure! I had the opportunity to collaborate with them as part of a special project I was working on at San Diego Magazine. We were in desperate need of some interior design guidance as we had recently downsized into a new office space in downtown and while the floor plan had good bones, the space was ultimately not being used as functionally as it could be and we needed some outside perspective on how to make better use of the space along with addressing the needs and concerns of our evolving in-office schedule and team strategy. We also were navigating through how to achieve the aesthetic goals we had for the space that would be reflective of the brand identity we wanted to communicate to partners who would visit the office.

Emilia was a tremendous resource through every stage of the consulting agreement. This was my first time working with a design firm and I was struck by the professionalism, creativity and conscientiousness that they had towards any budget parameters we relayed as well. They were invested in ensuring this project would be a success by our terms and theirs!

It's clear that Moniker Design is a special team and were the strategic thought partners we needed to really establish, refine and execute the vision we had for our office space. Couldn't recommend them more highly!
