Excellent customer service with a skilled, hardworking crew. Nate's gave me a good price on my tree work. Over the years, I have used three other tree services and this was the best experience. They showed up a little early and ready to work. They deliver what they promised. There were 6 trees needing a trim. We have a beautiful large oak tree overhanging our parking area and deck. The crew trimmed it up thoughtfully. It's still as beautiful as ever even with the cuts made. The other five look great too. The crew checked in with me several times to make sure I was happy before moving on. They did a fine job cleaning up as well. I highly recommend giving them a call.

The worst. I have had 2 interactions with Nate's, both very unpleasant and leading to insurance claims.

First they had a vegetation management inspector come on to mark trees unannounced (although my pge file clearly states 24 he notice due to dogs) for a voluntary fuel reduction project. I asked inspector to use flagging instead of paint because I would likely opt out of project but came home to 200+ permanently spray painted trees.

Next, they were doing work on neighbors property and asked if they could access through my road. Their crews left trash everywhere, disregarded property lines I clearly informed them of cutting my trees in the process, and cracking the asphalt on my road with their equipment. Also, they were paid by pge for removal and cleanup and they left logs and brush stacked like Lincoln logs all over the clearing.

When I spoke to their staff that handles insurance claims, I asked him to repair the road or bring in a load of gravel to prevent erosion and he told me I was being unreasonable and that we were at an impasse.

All in all, very unprofessional, shotty work, does not perform to work specs, and has absolutely no respect for the property owner. Avoid like the plague

Bad experience with Nates Tree Service showing up to my house unannounced. I work from home on LIVE CALLS and all of a sudden this truck drives in, parks in the middle of the driveway blocking in my neighbor, men yelling in Spanish and running weed eaters right outside my office window and causing me to miss work, lose sales and also causing my blood pressure to go up.
Schedule with people that live at the property before you just freaking show up unannounced idiots!!! Very unprofessional experience.

I used Nate's Tree Service a few years ago to cut down a large dead oak tree next to my house and they did a terrific job. Recently I was again in need of their services and I didn't hesitate to call them. The whole process was incredibly smooth, from the initial quotation to the removal of a fallen tree. The professionalism and the skill that the crew demonstrated was truly impressive. I was kept informed throughout the job and I am very grateful that Nate's was there when I needed them.

Wow, after reading the numerous bad review we also had a terrible experience with Nate's. We should have read these reviews prior to having them remove our trees. They lied to us about what they promised wouldn't happen. Nate's promised they would not go onto one neighbors property (which they did) and leave the other neighbors property better looking when they finish the tree removal (complete mess) along with personnel trash all over our property. There office is very disorganized. They called me and gave me a date the tree's where being removed so I went up to the property to make sure they did what was promised and after driving 3hr to the property no one was on site I called the office and I was told the appointment was cancelled for some reason. I could go on and on but I won't. My advise stay FAR away from this company.

The crew from Nate's Tree Service pruned a very large apple tree that was overgrown and overloaded with apples. Also, they trimmed an oak tree previously. In both cases they did an excellent job, very professional and capable with the right equipment. I highly recommend them for any tree work. Their prices were very competitive.
