Trust the negative reviews and go elsewhere. The owner is friendly when you’re picking out furniture but once you’ve paid them, the friendliness and all communication ends. They don’t give you a clear delivery date, and when my family and I have called for the status of our orders, the owner has yelled at us and threatened to cancel our orders if we don’t want to be patient. He takes no accountability for their lack of communication. I don’t mind waiting for the shipment, the issue is not being notified of the order process and any delays they may experience. It’s been almost 3 weeks and I have not received my order, but I am certain I will never buy from this store again.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Comfort Living (Furniture Outlet) and I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid the same issues.
The customer service at Furniture Outlet was extremely poor. Here are some specific issues I encountered:
I tried reaching out multiple times regarding my delivery status, but my calls and VM were rarely answered. When they were, the responses were vague and unhelpful.
I was given conflicting information about delivery dates and product availability. This inconsistency was incredibly frustrating and made it difficult to make plans.
While my main issue was with the customer service, the product quality was also below expectations.
The delivery process was another major letdown:
My order arrived weeks later than promised, with no proactive updates from the store. I had to constantly chase them for information.
Overall, my experience with Furniture Outlet was highly unsatisfactory. The combination of terrible customer service, poor product quality, and inefficient delivery has left me very frustrated. I would not recommend this store to anyone looking for a smooth and pleasant shopping experience.

THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE....BEWARE!! 👎🏽
Lack of communication between customer and employees (Peter) is full of empty promises. Our couch was delayed for 2 months. I had to do a walk in twice since they were ignoring me on the phone. Very frustrating situation.
Finally my couches arrived and I am not going back to them.

WORST Customer Service - I purchased 6 seater dining table set from Comfort Living in Hayward on December 10th 2022. They came to my house a week later as promised to deliver the dining table. Glass top of the dining table has many scratches. I didn’t purchase floor model or one with scratches. These guys said they will replace the glass top and left the house. Then after multiple calls to their showroom, They sent new glass top to my house and after coming to my house, They realized it was for different model. These people were so inefficient and cannot even look at invoice details for the correct model and replace the faulty item they delivered initially.
I am still waiting for them to replace the glass top. Whenever I call them to check about status, They don’t even give tentative date on when they can deliver the replacement. They keep saying they will call back when the replacement arrives at the showroom and never give the update. When I asked for refund, they even denied refund for this faulty item.
I got cheated by these people. Please stay away from this place.

Went to there to purchase a bedroom set. The staff (Ms. Lana) are very helpful and my delivery was on time. The quality of the furniture exceeded my expectations, definitely not the IKEA type where you have to assemble it yourself. My dresser and end table came pre-assembled, I only spent 15 minutes on my bed frame.
Overall, I would recommend this store for anyone in the market for some good quality furniture with reasonable prices.

Just walked in looking around and wanted to get something. The salesman was so eager and persistent to “GET MONEY” he said this and that, he’ll deliver this day and time etc. day of delivery and NO SHOW,NO CALL NOTHING!!! Went to store and was even more blown away. The guy acted as though what we agreed on when he (wanted my $$$) wasn’t a big deal. He said oh don’t worry we’ll deliver in few days at night! Like would you let me come pick out and take home furniture and say hey I’ll pay you MOn, then Monday comes and I say don’t worry man, I been busy with holidays and family I’ll take care of it Friday? NO! Customer service is TERRIBLE. But I ddnt READ reviews before hand. They will be EXTRA nice and professional…. Over assertive and aggressive to get your $$$ but after THAT…. FORGET about it they DONT CARE. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

After looking at the sleeper couch we had requested to change color of choice. When product was delivered it was a totally different model and material that we were never told about.. upon returning owner was very quick on closing the deal.. but when it came to customer satisfaction level Owner was very rude and disrespectful and offered to give us the same dirty couch in return that was on display to cover the cost of the new one also took 30% restocking fee.. Be very aware if buying products from here as you will not be told about the model and material differences and delivery refund policy..not recommended! Very poor customer service.. very disgraceful.

Ordered a special chair from them on Friday, and it was delivered Wednesday as promised within the scheduled time frame. Very nice people and great customer service!
