DO NOT DONATE HERE! ALL PROFIT, not non-profit. have a close friend who used to live next to the owners... and he's not a good guy. Not only that, but my sister in laws niece ran into hard times and found herself on the streets. One day I guess she was walking behind the store, and the staff was diligently working with their steady flow of donations, you know - free stuff given in the name of charity, and she had pants on that were way too big on her. Without ever asking for something ever before (or again) she asked if maybe they had a belt she could have to simply keep her pants up, and they told her yes, for sale and that she'd have to go around the front to buy one knowing she only asking them because she had no money. A belt, just a belt.

I went here to buy my son a monitor and the guy I dealt with was so nice! The girl the works up front was so rude the way she talked to me. Sorry you don’t like your job! Both the girls need to be a little nicer to customers! Rude! Rude!! ! Rude)

Probably my second favorite thrift store in Santa Maria! They have so many items! Everything is well organized. The clothing is sorted by style & size (which is nice). Prices on toys, home goods, clothing, shoes, & accessories range from $1 on up, but most items fall into the $1-$7 range. Obviously furniture & other big ticket items are going to cost more. My only complaint would be that this store has narrow aisles that can get clogged when too many people are in the store. I find that it is usually very busy on the weekends, so the best time to shop is on a weekday either early in the morning or 1 to 2 hours before they close at the end of the day.

After 50+ years of garage sale and thrift store shopping, this is without a doubt my favorite thrift store of all time.

To start with, it's non-profit so all proceeds go to DV victims and solutions.

Secondly, the selection is outstanding. I resell on eBay and go there on a daily basis and find really cool stuff. Generally buy something everyday, and see a lot of other resellers there too. Also buy lots of fun stuff for my grandkids.

Thirdly, the staff is extremely nice and friendly. I know many of their names, and they know my name. Very hard working crew too. No dust anywhere. I wish I could name them all, but would hate to leave someone out.

Good stuff too. I don't look at clothing, but that seems to be a big seller. Believe they sell about 3,000 items a day.

I come to New Image maybe once a week or so and it never disappoints! You come in , there’s a wide wide selection of clothes and household items . The staff to me is always friendly regardless of who it’s been. They have some house rules as they should !! So do not walk in to a thrift shop with big bags thinking they won’t say nothing come on now, just common sense right ? Also , they love it if you bring the clothes up to them without the hanger so remove them and leave them in your basket they will take them all for you and be happy. They accept Apple Pay !!! That’s huge for me so I thought I’d add that in. Overall I love this place, it’s my comfort zone and I feel excited every time I come. Please don’t ever close !!!!

Disappointed because last time I went it was a different experience.

My recent visit the worker said that I had to leave my bag/backpack In the front , no issue there since the store has the right to implement their rules.

But as I was shopping I saw another patron with a back pack that was not told anything.

And I saw the sign that the store had at the register and it said all bags must be left at front.

And when I pointed that the other patron had a back pack, and the sign said all bags because at first she said it should clarify that it's for back packs ,and pointed out that the other person has a back pack too.

The only difference was that the other patron was white and I was not . Because their own store policy said all bags ,and then she said they are not about discrimination.

And she did say sorry,but I told her that it was since it says all bags but they let the other patron shop.
