Jim(?) at Norvac SAVED OUR HOLIDAY SEASON!!! On a rainy December evening I made a desperate phone call, hoping Norvac had an obscure mechanical part that would get a gift up and running for the following day. Not only did they have it, but they took payment over the phone and left it out for us to pick up after hours—we were on a long road trip and couldn’t make it to the store in time for closing.

Cannot overemphasize the kindness and professionalism of these folks. I only wish the town we actually live in still had small businesses like this one. Cannot thank you enough! 🙏🏼

I have found my new favorite store! If you need ANYTHING electronic come here. You will not have to go anywhere else to find what you are looking for. They have literally anything and everything you would ever need. Stopped in there for one thing walked out with 20 items that i have been looking for/needing for a long time. I wish i had visited this business a long time ago. Would have saved myself so much headache and frustration over the years. Do your blood pressure good and stop running around looking for that one electrical part you need and just come here. Your heart will thank you.

Norvac Electronics is a GREAT place to seek, AND FIND, all sorts of 'Legacy' (meaning 'Old') and current day electronic parts and supplies for just about any electronic repairing, refurbishment, or build. The owners, Jim & Bonnie, are second generation owners from the family which started the company, and they are extremely knowledgeable about all things electronic, as well as really nice to work with. There prices are VERY reasonable, and if you can't find what you need their and then, they can assist you to find what you want elsewhere.

They are located at 2110 Commercial Street NE in Salem. Their hours are:
Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm; and,
Saturday's, 10am to 5pm

We got a couple of critical parts for lift master 2000sdr garage door opener logic board Thursday and the door opener is back to its life. This store was the one of many stars in the electronics boom era and it still survives today.
The voltage regulator 7805, resistor 240ohm/1 wattage and capacitors 4.7uf/50v are all in good quality at the very reasonable prices.

Jim and Bonnie are great people and an excellent team. Shops like this are getting harder to find and Salem is lucky to have a shop like this still around. Our latest mission was getting my radio setup built out for the Gambler 500.just go in, even if it's to look around

11/10 stars. This is the best business I've ever been to. Not only are they helpful, kind, and informative, but they also have a wide selection of products for almost everything electronic. I had a blast going through have a flat out fun store to go wandering through the store. Jim and his wife Bonnie were honestly a joy to talk to. They have built a community id love to be apart of. It reminds me of the bar from cheers but with electronics. Norvac electronic parts has gained a new life long customer. I truely cannot rave enough about how much I love this place after one visit, and regret not coming in sooner
