I hired Noz and her team to lead the design for a complete remodel of my 2BD/2BR condo in San Francisco. Before hiring a designer, I had worked up some very rough design ideas, but I wanted a designer to “push the envelope” while also developing a cohesive aesthetic throughout the home. From our initial consultation, Noz worked really hard to understand what I wanted, and used that as a starting point for her own amazingly unique and creative ideas. My home has been transformed in a way quite different from what I originally expected, but very much in the spirit of what I was seeking from a comfort and design perspective. I couldn’t be happier with how the place turned out, thanks to Noz and her team!

From initial contact to the completion of the project, Noz and team were consistently enthusiastic, communicative, prompt and clear. We worked through three design proposals, and with each iteration a concept drawing was incredibly helpful in thinking about what the final space would look like. The process was super valuable for me – Noz definitely had incredible ideas but was also more than open to my feedback and always available to explain and/or balance her design choices in very practical terms. Noz and her team also selected new furniture throughout the home, some of which was initially outside my comfort zone, but ultimately really added the finishing touch to the overall vibe of the final space.

I’ll just add to what others have said here already: For all her obvious design talent and accolades, Noz listens to her clients, is extremely practical, and is super fun to work with. She brings not just amazing design ideas and concepts but also a healthy perspective on the realities of construction. We had to scramble a few times with costs, pandemic delivery timelines, and many of the usual construction-related delays, and she always had good, practical solutions, while keeping the final design in mind. I think it’s a rare combination and I would not hesitate to recommend Noz and her team!

Noz and team did a fantastic job on our remodel. We did new offices, updated living and dining room and redid 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. Each space perfectly suits us. But more importantly, there’s a design continuity that unifies the house. Noz worked with us to meet our budgetary constraints while making suggestions that completely met our needs. Her recommended appliances are terrific, the furnishings perfect and the house feels like OUR home. Her team was always in communication with us and they made sure that each appliance, piece of furniture or fixture was delivered on time. They stayed right on budget and right on time. After purchasing a new home, Noz helped me design my living/dining room, master bedroom, and home office. It was my first time using a an interior designer, and I'm so glad that I got to work with Noz. I had never worked with a designer before, and the entire process could not have been more stress-free. For example, I came home one day and all my art pieces were hung perfectly, and it felt so luxurious to have someone advise on the big concepts and then take care of the small details. Ditto with the window curtains. The best part about working with Noz, which I appreciate to this day, is that her suggestions really took the project to another level. Some of the items that she picked, which I "liked" when I first saw the design, are pieces that I just absolutely love now and would have never thought of getting myself. To me, that's the value of working with a designer. Finally, Noz is just great to work with it. She's smart, organized, creative, and has a really great energy about her.

Noz was incredibly clear about her design process, listening to our ideas and mocking up various options for us to be able to see her designs come to life. Having Noz be our guiding light through our first home design project was a true blessing in many ways. We purchased a new construction house in the Pacific Palisades and while the delivered finishes were well done, we wanted to make it a home that reflected our personal style. Knowing that our design preferences leaned conservative, we engaged Noz to push our boundaries and introduce design concepts and combinations that we would have otherwise never thought of ourselves.

The added challenge was to make our home child-friendly for our toddler and incoming twin infants. Noz consulted on every room in the house, and here are the highlights: (i) an incredible four-bunk bedroom for our children to grow up in, (ii) a finished entertainment basement with media built-ins that had to be designed with very specific measurements in mind to house a vinyl record collection, (iii) a formal living room that had to be highly conducive to Christmas decorating, including the reupholstering of two antique seating pieces and the re-tiling of a fireplace and (iv) installing wainscoting and custom wallpaper in our dining room.

From start to finish, Noz’s consultation on our six bedrooms and many other common spaces spanned about 5 months, during which she maintained constant contact, even during her personal vacation in Japan.

We have been very impressed with her taste, direction, professionalism and swiftness of execution. Above all, Noz had a deep respect for our stated design budget and at no point did we feel like we were compromising design integrity to make our budget work. She was encouraging during times when we were on the fence about certain choices, and professional during times when we weathered internal disagreements about what general direction to take. She took constructive criticism of proposed mood boards very well and her reiterations were always closer to our vision.
