Oakridge Custom Builders are competent and professional builders.We engaged them for our (large) house remodel. The whole process took 3 years - mostly hung up on permit issues, and Oakridge stuck with us through the hard times, working with subs to rearrange dates. When we finally got permission to move forward, they were very responsive. At the end of the project there were inevitably small issues (as with any project of this scope), and they had no problems helping address them (either themselves or getting the subs to come back). I would recommend you talk with them for your construction work.

When you are moving forward with a plan to modernize your seventies-soundbite of a space and friends, who just completed a stunning house remodel, encourage you to contact Oakridge Custom Builder (ORCB), you do exactly that. We loved our home by the ocean, however, it needed a complete revamp including new plumbing, electrics, and roof along with a style update, functionality improvements and storage, storage, storage. We also wanted to convert a single-car garage into living space and that took some out-of-the-box creative thinking.

After a few meetings with ORCB, we had a design, a game plan for moving forward, and a team for helping us navigate the daunting planning and permits process. ORCB was there for all of it and for that we are immensely grateful.

Collaborating with Kepler Design, ORCB answered the question of how we could transform an attached garage into a light-filled addition, while also modernizing the rest of the house. ORCB demoed, cleared, framed and general contracted the entire project and the final result includes an updated master suite, walk-in closet, office and laundry room. They also metamorphosed the one-person kitchen and tiny guest bedroom into an open-plan chef’s area and lounge-worthy guest suite with so much needed storage. The newly fashioned coffee bar and reimagined monochromatic fireplace created our perfect ocean-optics environment. And lastly, the addition of a custom book nook and wave watcher’s window seat fulfilled a childhood dream.

ORCB took us from a back-of-a-napkin daydream to virtually a new-build home, which is fully finished, modernized and, in our opinion, drop-dead gorgeous. It fulfills our long list of hopes and dreams and we are enjoying every minute in our sumptuous sea view sanctuary.
