They are the best employers in Oakland! They painted the paint so methodically and thoroughly that others assumed they had applied three coats rather than two. We engaged Arana to repaint our home's exterior in its entirety. It was previously painted improperly by the home flippers from whom we purchased it, and there were several spots where the paint was peeling or resembling crocodile skin. Although their proposal was not the lowest we got for the job, we thought the pricing accurately reflected the services they provided. The fact that their proposal included a one-hour meeting with a color consultant was also very welcomed; Cass Morris was excellent, and we are really pleased with the colors she recommended.

Arana Painting just painted my bathroom, and I am very pleased.  The prep work was thorough and excellent, painting looks great.  The painter was respectful and quiet, and thoroughly protected things from possible paint, and did a good cleanup job afterwards.

Absolutely avoid Arana Craftsman Painters!

We hired Arana Craftsman Painters to paint our house, and the experience was a disaster from start to finish. They did a terrible job on our home, with sloppy work and paint splatters everywhere. To make matters worse, they also managed to get paint all over our parked cars. When we asked them to address the issue, they refused and responded with rude, passive-aggressive behavior. If you're looking for a company that provides poor quality work and unprofessional service, look no further. We regret ever hiring them and will never use their services again.

Their work is exquisite and clean. She and her staff always answer the phone, they fix anything on a job that ever goes wrong -- the need for which is rare because they are so good at what they do. She treats her employees like family; she brings people under her wing and grooms them and they stay with the company long-term. Over the years we have referred dozens of projects, interior and exterior paint and wallpaper jobs, and we look forward to referring dozens more.
