I have a classic VW bus and needed a new headliner. I bought a custom kit from a vintage VW warehouse and thought I could install it myself. Well… it was a much bigger project than I was comfortable with and I needed some professional help. Based on a couple of references, I reached out to Paco’s Custom Upholstery and I’m glad I did!

Come to find out, the product I purchased was poorly made and needed to be drastically modified, here is where the masters come in handy. Paco’s was able to rebuild the factory headliner with the extra material included and professionally install it.

In hindsight, I should have taken it straight to their shop and had them build one from scratch, but is a testament to their skill and quality.

I needed some work done on my car.

In the city of San Francisco I was quoted $950.

Sacramento I was quoted $590 for the same job and Pacos I was quoted $1800 by a not so friendly woman smoking a cigarette.

The place looks filthy.

Perhaps they do good work, but I’ll never know.

Customer service is certainly not top of their list.

Excellent craftsmanship, fair priced, timely and really nice folks. Paco's sewed up a seat cushion cover for a 30 year old chair that we just couldn't part with. Another upholstery store said it couldn't be fixed and just throw it away!

We recently had two vintage chairs reupholstered here. We supplied our own fabric and had the chairs back in two days. They were friendly, professional and the end result is amazing. Our second project was to cover a single mattress as a couch seat. It took three tries to get it as tight as needed and the staff stayed in contact with us to make sure the end result was what we expected. They went above and beyond to give us a finished product we will enjoy for years to come. I highly recommend Paco’s and we enjoy supporting local small businesses.
