Our first time here was a success thanks to Susan and Carol Morse who helped us find what we needed. Carol’s expertise in lighting and fans helped us immensely. This store came highly recommended by a family member. And it’s everything you need if you’re looking to replace or install light fixtures and fans in your home. Carol was patient as we weighed our options before deciding on what we wanted to purchase. The store has ample space to sit or stand as you look around, narrow down your likes and decide on which ones you want to purchase. Each product has a QR code so customers are able to walk around, scan this code for something that catches their eye and get more information of each product. Porter Lighting also has catalogues if you like to choose your fixtures by looking at photos with written information. We were told that each light is part of a family so if one like a medium sized pendant there’s a small one and a larger one that will match or that you can find in different finishes. All in all, this is your destination if you like to avoid crowded chains that sell lights and fans. Whether you’re remodeling or building your home, this store has every possible light fixture you can imagine for each and every room. They also have stunning outdoor light fixtures. Not happy with my experience with Porter Lighting. We are buying ALOTTT of lights for our new build, our builder is contracted with Porter so we have to use them. The first person that they assigned to help us was new and had only assisted homes that were smaller like 2000 square ft first time home buyer homes. Our first meeting she forgot about and I had to wait till she finished lunch and returned to work. Which was just annoying. Our home is 6000 sq ft custom and has a tonnnn of lights needed. So she wasn’t qualified to help with this large of a project and it was a horrible experience. Then they put me with someone else who was more experienced, and she is nice and helpful but takes weeks to get a response from her. It’s very frustrating. They really need to have better customer service. When you’re spending 20-30k on lights I really think it’s not a lot to ask for employees that actually care.

We worked with carol and she was very patient with us all through the appointment explaining us everything with finest detail and exhibiting utmost professionalism. I had an excellent experience with Porter Lighting. They are professional, organized and endless options. I love that their design gallery is organized by type of light fixtures in different rooms and that is not even half of their options. They have countless books with options that are not on display, so it is a guarantee to find what you are looking for. It didn’t take long for the light fixtures to come in and they kept me updated on the process. Once they arrived, they were scheduled and installed within less than a week. The installers were very nice, professional, quick and did a wonderful job. The lights are great quality and look beautiful!

I knew it would take more than 3 hours to select all the ceiling fans and lighting fixtures for our entire home (both exterior and interior). Loren dedicated her WHOLE DAY helping us to get the perfect lighting for each area. For certain lighting options that were above our budget, Loren proactively searched for alternatives to meet our budget that looked as great as the original picks. We thank her for her professional knowledge, time and patience. It was such a pleasant experience at Porter Lighting. Loren, thank you. Lastly, we also thank our designer Gretchen who spent the whole two weeks with us designing our home to be a beautiful and enjoyable space. We are so blessed to be working with these exceptional professionals for our home project. I can't wait for the construction to begin now.

We purchased the light fixtures for our house from Porter Lighting several years ago. Sandra was so kind and patient as she guided us through the process of choosing the light scheme for our home. Just recently we had to replace the some exterior light fixtures (due to storm damage). Sandra was again very helpful and great to work with.

Service is excellent. Lighting is very difficult but Loren made is easy with her help. We were scheduled for a couple of hours, but ended up having her help all day. With so many options, and rooms to pick for, we couldn't have done it without AA Porter.
