The best job for the most reasonable rates can be found at Quality Auto Glass Tint in Salida. Some of the very best quality and precise work done by the gentlemen in the shop! By the way; the shop was IMMACULATE! Clean, clean y limpio! The shop is sparkling clean and they are still mopping the floor! Do y’all do house visits too (just kidding)? I called in advance to schedule my Nissan Rogue named Ms. Juanita to get her windows ceramic tinted for protection against our brutal Central Valley summer sun and heat. I was not only able to schedule the day and time that worked best for my schedule I was sent a link to the invoice and was able to prepay before my arrival, which made life MUCH more convenient for me. I appreciated the opportunity to take care of business prior to the day of my appointment. When I arrived I was greeted at the front door with a welcoming smile and confirmation of my appointment.

Once inside I was thoroughly explained the process and colors that would be applied for the tinting options available for the ceramic tints. They have a nice and comfortable side waiting room if you wanted to wait for your car. There are also other eating options right up the road to get something to eat and wait for your car.
If you wanted the best price with a professional and quality tint job, come to Quality Auto Glass Tint in Salida! I promise you won’t get a better price, better customer service and you definitely won’t get a better quality of workmanship anywhere else.

I’ve taken several cars to Quality Auto Glass and they are by far the BEST! Made an appointment for 9am. They were open 15min early and started immediately. Great customer service in the office. They have a nice waiting room if needed to wait there .Took them about two hours to tint the five windows (nine windows if you count the small ones)
They did a great job and I highly recommend. Great price and service !

First of all I called this place on accident I thought I was calling the business that tinted my windows on another vehicle, so I found this gem by mistake and I could not be happier with my experience! The gentlemen who answered the phone was professional and informative I was scheduled for the next day (FAST) When I arrived the process was explained to me by a nice young lady in the office she helped me choose the desired tint she was extremely knowledgeable and patient while explaining the different products to me. It has been a month and the tint and windows on my car are perfect! I highly recommend this business their customer service is excellent, place is immaculate, prices are reasonable and the tint job is perfect! I will recommend any and every one I know looking for an excellent tint job!

Initial contact and appointment confirmation were super easy.

Dropped off my vehicle , and had a couple trouble spots. Took until about closing and I wasn’t given updates regarding my vehicle.

Price was unbeatable, and even with the upsell to the better product.

Had some bubbles on the tint when I picked it up, but I was assured they would go away as the tint cured completely. They were absolutely right, and within about four days all the bubbles were gone. I was promised that if it didn’t look right, I could come back and get it fixed.

The product has a lifetime warranty.

The company is very knowledgeable about their product and can help you out with any level of tint you are looking for. The price was set regardless of what tint I wanted, so it gave me options to customize to my satisfaction.

I will absolutely use again in the future.

Pictures show the outside and darkness of tint, and then from the inside you still have good visibility.

Here is my detailed review after about a month and out of the honeymoon phase. I rarely review so I wanted to make sure I didn't put my name on something I would regret later. This will be long but I hope it will help someone down the line. Car was a 2025 Tesla Model Y and I went with the XPEL XR+ Ceramic film on all windows but the roof. 30% on sides and 70% on the front windshield.

Appointment Contact: This was the closest place to me and the first place I contacted via website/email. My car was still in the process of being built so I had 3 days before I received it from Tesla. I got a text message (which I appreciated as I work for Amazon and I was preparing for our peak season and working 15 hour days). Initially lots of texting back and forth on the first day but once I received my car and was ready to move forward with an appointment I did not get a response for a few days. So I did what anyone would do and started to call around. Everyone else was charging much more for the lower grade of ceramic XPEL tint some were double the price for the lowest grade of XPEL to what they were charging for the XR+.

This is were it kinda rubbed me the wrong way. They are connected to Ceramic Garage which was my second choice as they seem to have a lot of experience with Tesla window tinting. Ceramic wanted to charge me much more then what Quality wanted to charge but I was not receiving any responses from Quality. In the end I was going to settle for the higher price since they were the 2nd best deal price wise. After confirming my appointment I finally got a response from Quality which I ended up just going with and messaged Ceramic to let them know and cancel my appointment. I felt this was very unprofessional as they are connected but again I was a consumer windowing shopping and I understand how it can be a bit disrespectful for me to back out once I got a response from Quality (little did I know they were both the same company and I assume potentially the same person).

Day of appointment: The very nice and professional lady at Quality was great help. 100% would offer her a job on my team for her customer focused approach in person. She helped me pick out what I wanted as I did not want to regret something too dark. She was very knowledgeable and even let me take a look at other cars so I did not regret it after. Constant communication throughout the day and even let me know that an issue happened and they had to redo my front window. Which I highly appreciated. I felt like I was taken care of and I could confirm all of this with my sentry cameras that show the inside of the car.

Quality of work: Overall, I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I ended up getting the XPEL Ceramic XR+ on all windows except my roof glass. Look is dark enough that in most cases no one outside can see me but I'm able to drive to Black Oak after dark and see perfectly with no one else going to the same direction. Anyone with astigmatism should get their front windshield tinted ( I did the 70%) as it has improved my night drive experience greatly without impairing my vision.

The bad: When I got my car tinted I had only had this car less then a week so I was very much still babying it. To receive my brand new car back with foot print all over the back of the seats and doors was kind of a bummer but not something I couldn't just wipe off. I do suggest that they use shoe covers. Also sponges and stuff were left in the car, no big deal I threw them away. Also about a month in and I can see very tiny bubbles that I assume is some kind of dust or debris that is trapped between the glass and the film. I'll keep and eye on it and make contact if they begin to expand in the summer.

Overall:
Hands down the best spot for the price and the lady in the office.
Could be a bit better on responsiveness with communication
Some shop cleanliness(shoe covers and less debris) would greatly improve quality of work.
Overall very satisfied and will return with my wife's or my next car.

Dropped the car off and they completed ahead of what they initially told me. Shop was clean professional and again very helpful throughout the whole process.
