From my van to get the interior upholstered. I had done plenty of research and decided RB components was the style I wanted for my vans interior. I called and made an appointment with Jamie. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process. I made an appointment almost a month and a half in advance. Paid the deposit on all of my preinstalled material. I brought it in on. It was my turn and met with Jamie in person. I met his team and he explained everything in detail of what they were going to do. They showed me another van they had done work on and it looked great. Came back after about a week. Since I live in San Francisco, our flight came in past the time they were open and Jaime was very accommodating. Once we saw the reveal of the van, we were very, very happy with how they did it. I had a lot of additional custom work that needed to be done based on all of the interior add-ons I had previously installed. Overall, I am very pleased with the level of craftsmanship and service I received from RB components. Will definitely come back for future upgrades to the van.

A great team of people at RB Components. Special shout out to to Nick S. in sales for all the assistance. He took the time to explain everything to me. I ordered their sofa/bed combo, wall mount hardware, wheel chocks and l-track fittings. Super stoked with all the products, fit and finish is top notch. You can’t wrong with any of their stuff, I highly recommend RB Components for all your trailer needs!

I took the RV to get an estimate to build shelves and a water tank. After spending time with them, the estimate they promised never came. Call them, and again, their promise to provide an estimate was never provided. Recently, the EcoFlow power kit they installed malfunctioned. I called them and was promised a return call from Jaime never came. Now, I am stuck with no power for the weekend. Their CS is much to be desired. Rest of you all with good experience and reviews, I am jealous.

Update: So the owner, Jamie, contacted me and clarified a few things. The employee who interacted with me is no longer employed by the company. Secondly, RB Components did not install the EcoFlow so they can't advise on issues. Still taking a star away because the owner has to take ownership of its employees negligence. 4 stars since Jamie was very courteous and made the effort to correct customer's complaints.

Have been researching and looking for what components to use for my build. Called RB today and asked a few questions. After the call decided to drive up from San Diego. Traffic was horrible. Took double the time, I arrived at 330pm. It’s Friday and close to closing time. I taught my day was wasted as I would no longer be able to look around and ask a million questions. To my surprise Nick was more than willing to show me around and explain many of his products. Even took the time to show me some demo vans and some employees vans. He was very knowledgeable and helped me make some decisions that I had been unsure off. No pressure, no gimmicks, and amazing customer service. In an industry where everyone is an expert and an overwhelming amount of COVID builders, I feel I made the right decision.
Nick sold me just enough to get me going. No more no less. Have the best advice I’ve heard in the 6 months I’ve owned the van.
Use it, use it more, then see what I really need. Can’t beat that.

Definitely will be back for more gear and I know I will have many more questions.

I gotta say I don’t write reviews very often so when I do it’s usually for some pretty exceptional service. This is without a doubt one of those times. I decided to take on building my van myself which as everyone knows is no easy feat. I wanted to build it with all RB Components products because they are simply the best quality out there. I’ve heard some people complain the stuff is too expensive but I’m a firm believer in paying a little extra and doing things right the first time around. Otherwise you end up spending more money in the long run replacing cheap parts. Realistically the pricing is not nearly enough if you factor in the excellent service you get along with buying their products. The service I got from Jamie and Nick is absolute top notch. I honestly have to say it’s the best customer service I’ve ever had. Every part I bought they went above and beyond showing me what I needed to do and answered every question I ever asked. I have to give them a huge amount of credit because they have really made building out my van a much easier and more enjoyable experience. Safe to say I’ll always be going to them for any parts I need and I highly recommend everyone else does too.

The whole crew at RB made my first time endeavor to outfit a Sprinter so much easier then I expected. From the first time I walked in Nick made my wife and I feel comfortable and welcome patiently answering all our questions and encouraging us to take our time with the process. Jamie has been invaluable with his help and advice always taking the time to make sure we get the right products for our personal build. They take a lot of time and obviously pride themselves at taking care of the customer which is a rarity in business now days especially in such a booming industry that churns out a lot of product. RB makes thoughtful and well made product and back it up with amazing customer service. I’ll miss these guys when/if I ever get done😉

If you have a Sprinter, Ford, a trailer or just want your rig to look rad, these are the guys! Jamie and his team took the time to help me (a self described knucklehead when it comes to vehicles) sort out my basic van build and did a basic install of a fan, wall brace kits, and sent me off with the rest of my kit to finish. When it's time for an upgrade, they will have my business. Everyone on the team is friendly, honest, and demonstrate how a business should be run. I am grateful that they are local to Southern California and that they have a strong business based here in CA with USA made products. Whether you are a DIY van builder and need bombproof parts, or want their full service build, don't waste your time looking around, just call the crew at RBC and get your build going.

I have had my 2016 sprinter 170 RB van for three years. I LOVE MY VAN! The van and the Componets are fantastic and well thought out. I’ve spent nights in -2’ weather while up skiing and some warm summer nights in Nevada and Utah. I’ve put 30k miles on it and had no problems. After visiting RB shop and seeing all of the work they do behind the walls (wiring, welding in braces, and sound dampening/insulation) I realized just how much work and attention to detail they put in. I recommend them every time someone asks about my van! My advise is spend a little more and get the best!
