Very unprofessional business! I was in the store and found an item I liked. Told store owner I would be back later that afternoon. When I came back, store was open but owner was no where to be found. I waited about 10 minutes before leaving. I called him the next day and said I wanted the item, but I would not be able to make it back to get it for a little while and offered to pay for it over the phone He said he would just save it for me and I didn’t need to do that. I offered to give him my contact number, which he also declined. When I did make it back (working around his limited open hours), he had sold it to someone else and had not held it as promised.

Small store packed with surprising and well-curated assortment of furnishings, collectibles and errata with mid-century flavors. Items are not jammed together in unreachable, overcrowded dust-collecting pockets. They are thoughtfully displayed so that each item is given a respectable spot where it can be admired. Even so, one must browse slowly to find the the little gems that are displayed alongside items that pop with mid-century sensibility. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful — he took the time to check to see if a competing shop in Santa Rosa might have the item I was looking for. I have bought four items here this year and was entirely please with each one.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality of items for sale.

An outpost of taste & style in back to the land Sebastopol! I’ve bought a number mid-century pieces from Retrospect. It’s a wonderful store, the owner is very knowledgeable & extremely helpful.
