Every lightbulb I've needed, every time I've needed a fixture or a question answered, this team of experts can help. I've never gotten an "I don't know", I get a "oh yeah, we just got in the hundred watt soft white outdoor globes, they're right here!". Their fixtures are also gorgeous, just bought one today and installed it myself!

Yesterday I stopped in impromptu at Riverside Lighting/Electric and was pleasantly greeted by Dan! I explained to him that I had an unusual request - I brought in an old, sentimental lamp (handed down from my Mom) - please note that the lamp had NOT been purchased at Riverside.
The reason for my visit - I was having trouble inserting the bulb, which I had ordered online, into the special Lamp fixture. Dan immediately engaged and said no problem, let me see how I can help you! Within a matter of 15 seconds, he sized up the situ and installed the tricky bulb which lit up beautifully! I offered to pay him a few bucks for his kind, immediate service, but he said not necessary....So here I am writing a rave review! Riverside Lighting is the Best! Thank you so much again Dan for making my day!:)

Fantastic! Great selection in store and also many choices available by special order.
Associate Nora took the time to go online with me when I wasn't seeing exactly what I was looking for, I described the specifics and she made me a "wish list" then emailed it to me so I can print and look at them at home in the intended location.
Will definitely be going back for more!

They had exactly the lightbulb I needed. It was amazing. I wanted a flame type that was frosted, that was LED, and was dimmable. I was shocked that I didn't have to compromise on any of those requirements. The service was excellent. The salesman warned me that the dimmer I had might be a factor and recommended a newer version that was definitely pairable. I might use it, or return it if unnecessary but the foresight was definitely awesome. On top of all that the guy was really nice, patient and helpful. Everything I could ask for in a positive customer experience.

Surprisingly good selection of electrical hardware, great service. I needed a very large weatherproof outdoor electrical box . I got blank stares from sales people at Independent Electric Supply and Home Depot. At Riverside, the guy at the counter knew exactly what I wanted and exactly where to find it. Looking at their stock, I saw more than one of the box I needed, and multiple smaller sizes on the shelf. Price was reasonably in line with what I could have bought on line.

The people that work and manage this store are some of the most inconsiderate and unhelpful people if you get on their nerves. They encourage you to ask questions, but get upset when you ask them. I cannot understand why they still work there if they all seem to hate their job so much. On top of that, all of the merchandise and products that they sell are marked up to a price that is just unreasonable, for no reason except to exploit their customers. I DO NOT recommend ever going in there for anything except their lamp repair. If you just look up what you're wanting to buy, I guarantee you can find it online and not feed into their disgusting business

Honestly, as an electrician, their electrical counters prices are a bit high, BUT they have a wider selection of residential circuit breakers than anywhere else in the area. They also have the equipment to custom-bend rigid conduit which is great when you need something 1-1/4" or bigger. They are open Saturday which is great when you need something you forgot to get during the week.

Broad selection of electrician's tools and parts. Beautiful fans and lamps. Racist electricians in the back. Helpful sales staff just disinterested in selling to anyone but the biggest most expensive house.
Went in today to ask about a $600 ceiling fan and they weren't interested in attempting to find me a matching product.
This is probably the third time I went in for something they're listed as a vendor for and walked out disappointed.
