We recently hired Michelle and Ashleigh at Room to Breathe Interiors to update our house, and we couldn’t be happier. We were on a tight budget, and they found amazingly creative ways to refresh our space. They transformed our ugly 1990’s fireplace from an eye sore to the main feature of the room (pictures attached). They also picked out new flooring, lights, fans, cabinet hardware and paint colors, and they absolutely nailed every detail.

The process with Michelle and Ashleigh was so simple – after just one meeting, they were able to understand and articulate our style (which we couldn’t do on our own). We love how they listened to our ideas yet guided us to even better ones. They were extremely easy and fun to work with and kept in constant communication on each phase of the project. They also coordinated with the contractor to ensure that everything was done correctly and on time.

We highly recommend working with Room to Breathe Interiors for any home remodel. Michelle and Ashleigh are extremely talented, exceptional people.

Michelle was a pleasure to work with and has a great eye for design. She helped me with design ideas, and narrowing down fixtures, tile and paint for our partial master bath remodel. It was a challenge to work with the existing vanity and flooring in an attempt to make everything look cohesive and as if it was all done at the same time. She was always super positive and upbeat. She listened to my feedback and provided her own expert opinions as it related to fulfilling the vision I had. Highly recommend Michelle and Room to Breathe Interiors.

Ashleigh and Michelle are an amazing duo. They are easy to work with, detailed, organized, and creative. I have partnered with them for many years and they are amazing to work with. They bring a great energy, they listen to their clients and tailor their ideas, vision and creativity towards what they hear! They have a great sense for when to create space for the client to make a decision, but also know when to nudge clients towards informed decisions. I recently had worked with Room to Breathe on a major remodel but specifically asked them to consult on a kitchen layout in a very tricky space. The suggestions were on point. Working with them felt comfortable and fun… not once did we feel like we were being talked down to. I was especially appreciative of the many ideas they gave to be budget savvy and smart with space. Ashleigh and Michelle helped me with a 600 sq ft addition + reno PLUS whole house exterior renovation. One thing that stood out from the start is that they are both very relatable and down to earth. There was none of that snooty designer attitude that I always felt so intimidated by in the past. They started by getting to know me and my design aesthetic; and worked with me to create the best possible version of that vision. They understood my budget and helped me choose which items to splurge on and which items to conserve on. They helped me pick paint colors, vanities, tile, mirrors, light fixtures, tiles, flooring, windows, doors, siding, pavers, etc. When we hit unexpected hiccups (an invariable part of renovating an 80-y.o. house), they were always right there for me providing emotional and technical support. They are special, magical, competent, funny, and nothing short of an absolute pleasure to work with. Photos will be added soon.
