We just purchased our second mattress from Salinas Mattress. John is the owner and makes the mattresses in house using high quality materials and craftsmanship. The first mattress we bought was almost two years ago (2022) and is the one without any springs. It is very comfortable and has held up well. We just purchased one for our guest room (2024) with springs and an adjustable base which we are also very pleased with. After buying several brand name mattresses from Macy's and other Mattress stores, we learned that they are crap and somewhat of a scam because they can not be flipped. The mattresses that John makes can be flipped and so they stay comfortable for many more years than a traditional mattress. While not cheap, we feel that these mattresses are a very good value and will definitely go back when we need mattresses in the future. We highly recommend Salinas Mattress!

Superb values, quality products, white-glove service! I shopped and shopped for a mattress and they all had memory foam that caused me to sweat. Jokingly, I commented to others that I needed someone to build a matress for me. I searched the web and was thrilled when I located Salinas Mattress Company. I drove down from San Jose and it was the most worthwhile trip. John, the owner, was very assisting and patient and built me the perfect mattress. Additionally, the customer service that he has provided throughout the years has been A+. If you are in need of a mattress, this is the place.

Outstanding service and quality! They made a custom mattress to fit our camping trailer - very comfortable and well-made. They delivered it, and removed the old mattress. John (the owner) assured us that if, for any reason, we weren't happy with the mattress, that they would make a new one at no charge! Now that's a guarantee!
