We were very satisfied overall with the experience we had with San Diego Rustic Furniture warehouse. First thing is, they have a huge selection of slabs and some finished products to choose from. Second, the staff is very informed about all the different selections of wood. Another great aspect is you get to design your own furniture and have them put it together. They also stay in touch with you during the process just to verify the design. And best of all they told us it would take three weeks, but it was actually less than that. GREAT PRICES too! Since we had them cut part of a slab off, they also finished the pieces which are now two nice shelves.

We custom-ordered a console table, our first experience with custom furniture. The customer service was excellent, keeping us informed throughout. When the chosen wood warped, they adjusted the legs to ensure stability. While the table doesn’t wobble, only 35% of the surface is flat, making it difficult to use for work as intended. It’s a beautiful piece, but not the functional workspace we expected.

They did offer to create another table but at the time, we were moving out of state and we didn’t have time nor the funds to get it shipped at a later time.

From the moment we arrived, Talia welcomed us with such warmth and expertise. The craftsmanship and quality of the wood is INSANE. I have never seen more gorgeous wood slabs - they were truly breathtaking. They had a great variety of types of wood, sizes, and styles. Their epoxy work also looks fantastic.

Thanks to Talia's guidance, we found the perfect slab—exactly what we were looking for. Talia, Gaby, and the entire team were fantastic to work with. If you're looking for high-quality custom wood pieces and a team that really knows their craft, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! We will definitely be returning to get more pieces.

I first encountered this place over six years ago, before they moved locations and when the Charles Frank was in charge. We loved the place and fell in love with a table. It was so beautiful, but a board started splitting from the rest. We contacted Charles again and he determined it wasn’t repairable and replaced it at no cost to us. We loved this table too. 5 stars to everything.
We ended up moving to a smaller place for a few years and had my sister keep the table during that time. She fell in love with it too, and bought it off us.
Then in 2023, we bought a house and went back to San Diego Rustic Furniture Warehouse for a new table. Charles had retired and now his daughter Gaby was running the shop. We found a table we loved and ordered wood legs for it. When they delivered the table, it had metal legs so we called to fix the mixup. They were accommodating and sent someone to change them out. Then they put on wood legs, but it was a new style that we hadn’t seen before and clashed with our style. This was never discussed beforehand. I contacted the daughter and she said that they didn’t make the old style wood legs anymore and wouldn’t be changing them out again. I asked if they could make a pair in the old style since it was a simpler build. She said no. We went back and forth a bit and I ended up giving up. But I viscerally hate these table legs. I would not have bought the table had I known these were the only wood legs they have for them now. I’m trying to find somewhere else to make the legs in the old style. Every time I see them it makes my blood boil.
Everything else is great except the customer service at the end.
