We hired Laure to restore three big armchairs and a footstool that belonged to my grandmother and were all in very rough shape with dated and worn-out fabrics and some major repairs needed overall.

There really aren’t words to describe how beautifully these three chairs and small footstool turned out once Laure had worked her magic, but some words that come to mind include: breathtaking design aesthetics, phenomenal craftsmanship, such attention to detail, and a maintaining of all original charm while restoring beauty and comfortability!

We were also very touched by Laure’s passion for her work—both the craft and artistry of upholstery and also the way she engaged with the stories behind each piece of furniture and helped to breathe new life in while honoring the past.

As for Laure, she is a dream to work with—so knowledgeable, kind, fun, and willing to really listen to what her clients are hoping for with a restoration. My husband and I (and our pup, who loves to sit in these chairs) could not possibly be happier with our experience and these armchairs and little footstool will be with us for many generations to come!

Laure was a pleasure to work with. We contracted her a few months ago to redo a sofa and two armchairs that we had purchased at Ethan Allen some years ago.
The quality of her work and the expertise she delivered were simply outstanding.

She worked on the entire sub-frame so that fabric laid perfectly once completed. The finish touches was impeccable and she guided us through the process with the perfect selection of fabric to complement nicely our interior.

We sit on our sofa every evening and it is firmer than ever and the sofa looks great. She complemented the set up with some new feather down pillows with a gorgeous silk fabric that are comfortable and reshape up quickly with a good shake.
I highly recommend her to people who are looking for a true interior designer and a great upholsterer.
