Our home recently went through an extensive remodel to enhance our ocean view. From the beginning we knew the right interior design was imperative. Every room in our home, including kitchen and baths, required selections in color, tile, flooring, furnishings, cabinetry and window treatments. We were extremely fortunate to find Colleen Macey owner of Santa Barbara Interiors. Besides Colleen's extensive design experience, she has an incredible ability to quickly assess client preferences and taste.....she listens!! An added bonus is her shop, Santa Barbara Interiors, where she has everything needed to make decisions and more.

Colleen is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to work with. She is patient and kind. An excellent problem solver. She knows everything from Interior Design to window shades, closet design, and her and her partner Tom are experts in designing custom cabinetry. Talk about a one stop shop, they are the real deal! I tell all my friends to go to them as I know they will be in good hands.

We needed new window coverings for our completely remodeled kitchen and could not be more delighted that we selected Santa Barbara Interiors to help us. Colleen Macy was wonderful to work with. She was so helpful in deciding every little detail. The workroom did a beautiful job of fabrication and installation. We could not be happier! They're the best!

I am beyond pleased with the complete remodel of my 5,700 sq ft home performed by Colleen and Tom. They handled it all, including remodeling and interior design services. They advised on selections and oversaw the installation of all components of the house, starting with wood floors throughout the house, all interior and exterior paint colors, upgraded electric and AV. They remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms, including new cabinetry in the kitchen, bathrooms, garage and throughout the house. They designed and built a new powder room add on. They handled window coverings, indoor and outdoor furniture, etc., etc. They did a really comprehensive job, and their attention to detail, quality selections and overall professionalism exceeded my expectations. My home is now a beautiful, functional space thanks to their expertise. Highly recommend!!

I have worked with Santa Barbara interiors a number of times and the outcome has been excellent. Coleen has such an eye for design and she knows how to use color. The end project comes out fantastic. She's is committed to your project and it shows when the final product is delivered. She is the total pkg when it comes to design. From soup to nuts.

After searching for a quality sofa that would look great in my smaller condo for almost a year, I found the perfect beautiful one at Santa Barbara Interiors.
Not only that, Colleen (the owner who has a degree in Interior Decorating) provided professional interior decorating advise and is so pleasant to work with - very professional, yet relaxed -- informative, but not overbearing or pushy. It was such a pleasant experience that I highly recommended Santa Barbara Interiors to three of my friends recently that are remodeling and updating their furnishings and cabinetry.

After downsizing to my new Santa Barbara home, Colleen Macey was able to design a cohesive look using my favorite pieces and art. The new pieces she sourced for me work remarkedly well with my cherised decades-old furnishings. She understood my style and worked with me to update it while keeping it comfortable and familiar. It was a pleasure and even fun working with Colleen!

Colleen was very short and curt with me. She was not responsive to my phone calls. They got the colors of the pillows wrong. They got my zip code wrong. They tried to charge me 7 dollars more for each pillow than what the tag said. They got confused and tried to send me six pillows when i only ordered four. Overall they were very arrogant, rude, and totally incompetent. When they couldn’t get the simple order of four pillows ( two of one color and two of another) correct Colleen (who claims to be the owner, or part owner) said “ its just too complicated” and cancelled my order after almost a month of trying to get this right. Shop here at your own risk as they will not fail to disappoint!
