If asked at the beginning of our home rebuild 'why would we hire a designer at the beginning of a project' my reply would have been because it was suggested to us by others. Little did we know how important finding a designer would be to make our dream team complete.

Finding Sarah for us was a series of many different Zoom interviews with styles presented to us. Once we met Sarah and saw her designs, we knew she would be a perfect fit as her personality and design aesthetics matched us perfectly.
Within a couple weeks of signing a contract with Sarah we started to see the value in hiring a designer and creating a team early in the process. We are blessed with a true 'Dream Team'. Description: A group of very talented individuals (Architect, Designer, and Contractor) who have our best interests at heart.

Sarah has been an instrumental part of our Dream Team - fine tuning design ideas for the house as well as bringing a cohesive design for the interior from flooring, kitchen cabinets, appliances etc. With her design came the prices so that we have a clear idea of budget. When building or remodeling this is essential. And, as important as this is, we have been so grateful to Sarah for her honesty, ability to be straight forward, adjust to changes, creating solutions and working with and coordinating with all the team.

We wish for everyone to have this experience and would highly recommend Sarah Allen Designs for all the reasons that make a project run smoothly and culminate with a thoughtful plan for a beautiful home.

I worked with Sarah to design, construct and install a pair of custom bars to be used for wine tasting service while we were forced to operate in a temporary location due to major construction at the winery. Sarah took the time to fully understand our needs - service functionality, practical considerations around connectivity and order processing and packaged it up into something beautiful and in keeping with our desired aesthetic. She demonstrated a remarkable creativity and was very thorough in communicating regarding changes and finalizing materials and finishes. In the end we completed the two bars in time for the project and we kept them for future use; which was a good thing as it happens. Only recently, an unforeseen maintenance issue required us to use these bars again.
