Savvy Giving by Design whose mission is to turn dreams into reality to provide comfort and a place to heal, their mission is on point! Savvy Giving by Design created a personalized princess bedroom space for my daughter Venice who is battling cancer and currently recovering from a serious infection. She now has a beautiful space to help her heal and recover where she is surrounded by so many things she loved. This incredible experience is also shared with her two siblings where they also gifted a new space. Everything looks so perfect!
Hands down to Susan, Megan and the whole Savvy team! From beginning to finish each worker that came in to our house are so proficient, diligent, genuine, and very passionate on what they do. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Savvy Interiors exceeded our expectations! My wife and I hired Susan Wintersteen and her Savvy Interior team to hep us remodel a 1970 built Carlsbad home. Savvy was there for us from day 1 through the finish line. Even though my wife and I were living in Minnesota during the entire remodel Susan and her amazing subs kept us in the loop at every turn. We really appreciated the excellent communication, whether it was a phone call, a zoom meeting, email, text, or when we were in town, an in person on site meeting. Thanks to Susan's incredible vision, dedication, and talent our home remodel brought our home up to modern times while still honoring the early 1970's period when it was originally built.
If we ever remodel another property in San Diego we most certainly will call on Savvy Interiors again! We highly recommend Savvy to anyone who is looking for a top Design/Build team.

When someone came to my house recently and asked, "Now that the kitchen is done, is there anything you would have changed?" I could honestly say no. Why? Because Susan thought of everything ahead of time. She took our multi-page wish list, distilled it to its essence, asked the right questions, and created something that is at once beautiful AND functional and unique to us. Our young adult children returned home to the renovated kitchen, took one look and said, "This couldn't be anyone else's kitchen but yours Mom." Susan understands what it means to LIVE in a house, to use it - not just look at it or hand it off to someone to function within it. No, she gets it. "A place for everything, everything in its place."

Was it more than we thought we would spend before we started? No question. (But it's inevitable to have a little sticker shock when faced with real life labor and material costs after creating a price in our own minds based on nothing but fantasy.) But Susan and her team were organized, upfront and very clear with communication, sign-offs and schedules. And so while it was expensive, it was also not a surprise. There were NO surprises on this job. AND, it is true - you get what you pay for. So - while maybe I could have gotten it done cheaper, they more than earned their fees by being reliable, professional, on-time, clean, safe, and easy to work with. Peace of mind is truly priceless.

I highly recommend Savvy and all of their subs who were wonderful to work with and absolutely masterclass in their own right.

I cannot recommend Savvy Interiors enough. Susan and her team listened to what we wanted and needed and was able to distill it in a fantastic finished space. It was really a dramatic transformation and exactly what we needed. We have worked with other designers but none that went as smoothly. Not only does Savvy excel in design but also detail, communication and making sure everything goes smoothly. Our new construction house initially felt like a white box and now it feels like a home.
