This place does such phenomenal work. We had used them multiple times when we lived in Marin County and loved them so much, we wanted them to take care of the rugs we just inherited for our new home in Sonoma. They picked them up at our new house and returned them in a very timely fashion which was amazing since we learned in had been at least 25 years since they were cleaned and they were returned looking like new! The only thing we are more impressed with than their level of customer service is the quality of the work that they do!!!!

Worth the cost. Our cream-colored silk rug had not been cleaned in four years. It was disgusting. Pet stains, muddy footprints, a large pen stain. All gone- it’s completely clean and looks brand new. We are very happy and will return in another four years!

Our Experience with Silk Road Odyssey Rug-Cleaner and Repair was extremely satisfying. Several years ago we had a very expensive oriental rug cleaned by another provider. It came back apparently? clean, but rather dull looking. We were disappointed, to say the least. We lived with it because … who do you trust? Recently, we were referred to Jay, of Silk Road, by good friends, we trust. It seemed worth a try. We called Jay and he came over within 24 hours. We were impressed by his knowledge and confidence that he could get the rug clean and looking better. So, off he went with the rug with an exact date as to when it would be completed for a cost that seemed quite reasonable. What a good decision. The rug now glows once again with its original colors. The pile seems plusher, too. We will definitely use Silk Road from here on out. We recommend you do too.

Excellent service - simply couldn’t be better. I have lots of cats, one of whom had trouble controlling his bladder before he passed away recently. I’d done lots of clean up on my old but beautiful Shiraz oriental rug, but it needed professional help. The rug was picked up, then delivered to my house looking and smelling so fresh, clean and bright. All for a very reasonable price. In the 13 years since I found Silk Road, they have always been exceptionally knowledgeable and wonderful and so easy to deal with - friendly, professional, and my rug looks gorgeous. I highly recommend them.

I had 2 rugs cleaned at Silk Road Odyssey and was thrilled with both the quality of work done, AND the kind customer service. The carpets looked 100% better, and I was able to pick up a pad in their Berkeley shop on my way over to my daughter's new Oakland apartment, so everything couldn't have worked out better.

Silk Road did an excellent job cleaning and repairing an heirloom antique rug. Rug had very old dog urine stains and hadn’t been cleaned in years. Highly recommend!!

Had a sleeve put on my tibetan rug so I can hang it on the wall. I requested a quote via email. They sent me a video how the sleeve would be put on and gave me a very reasonable price. I dropped the rug off, they also suggested a cleaning since it had been in storage. The sleeve was well done. Overall, great experience.
