My husband and I were looking for a couch. I had been looking online for a long time and never could make a decision. We were recommended Skylar's in Carlsbad. I love that it is a family owned business and they were very quick with responding to any inquires we had with their options and what they offer. I was impressed by their cleanliness and they welcomed our dog to come in to check out couches with us which is a huge deal. We didn't find anything yet by the first visit but they are continuously getting new products in that by the second visit not too long after we found our dream couch. Easy to clean, very comfy and a great deal for the quality. The price was right and we were sold. Our place had a couch in it already and they helped us by delivering our couch and assisting us with the delivery of our old couch. SOOO happy and thankful for Skylar and their team. I just want to sleep on my couch now with how comfortable it is.

Our family has been purchasing furniture through Skylar for YEARS. I have hard time making furniture decisions on my own so I love all the floor models they have to choose from and how the staff is so confident with recommending colors and size, etc. We worked with John on this recent purchase and are SO happy with how our couch came out. The delivery guys even have great attitudes and are super efficient and friendly. You can tell the staff is all really happy and well taken care of. We have always been BEYOND happy with our purchases and the furniture has held up well for the prices we have paid. In addition, they have the BEST customer service. We rarely have had issues, but they've always been resolved immediately without hassle. You can't beat purchasing from this small business. We've shopped around plenty and we are always back at Skylar's every single time!

I had a great experience buying from Skyler. I purchased wall art, a living room couch and chairs, and outdoor furniture. Had a great time working with John. He helped us custom make two chairs for the living room as well, That are exactly what I was looking for. We also bought Adirondacks for the front porch that are great quality. Overall I feel all the furniture is amazing quality, and all the art was locally sourced And well-made. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend them to friends.

I am utterly disappointed with my experience at Skyler's Furniture store. I purchased a couch from them, hoping for comfort and quality, but what I got was far from it. From day one, the couch emitted loud cracking noises, making relaxation impossible.

Desperate for a solution, I contacted an upholstery company to inspect the couch. To my dismay, they discovered that the couch was terribly constructed, with the wood not even flush to the frame. It was evident that Skyler's Furniture had sold me a poorly made product.

When I tried to address the issue with the owner and sent him pictures showcasing the shoddy workmanship, he completely ignored my calls and dismissed my concerns with a flippant "too bad." This lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable.

Save yourself the headache and avoid Skyler's Furniture store at all costs. Their disregard for quality and customer satisfaction is appalling. Don't make the same mistake I did.

What we did to try and fix the issue and it didn’t fix it and Skyler the owner said too bad.

The upholstery company (not Skyler’s) put a screw in everywhere there is a staple, clamped down the front where those huge gaps were (see pictures) and put in 6 screws in each post, put a middle leg on the loveseat side, opened the front up and took off the upholstery to see if the wood was cracked, checked all the springs and made sure they were placed properly and not touching/rubbing on the wood, anywhere there was a 90 degree joint they added a right angle bracket to support the structure of the couch and it is still making a noise.

I have two gorgeous pieces of Skylar's furniture. I bought the teal couch a few years ago and it changed the look of the entire living room. So when I was looking for better quality patio furniture, I knew to head to Skylar's again and was NOT disappointed. Both pieces are well-made and reasonably priced. The customer service, from storefront to delivery, is excellent. The best part is that I know I'm buying from a local business!

The process of buying our new sectional went very smoothly. We loved the ability to customize some dimensions for our space. The delivery and set up was awesome—they communicated in advance of arriving, arrived when they told me they would, and they were efficient and very nice.
