I don't ever want to leave home again!! The cellular shades are truly stunning. I had the best experience from setting up the first appointment to getting the blinds installed. I debated on the which company and style I wanted to install for the last 5 years. I went into the project with a set budget and idea of what I wanted to do. I decided to go with Smith and Noble as I was referred by a family member. I contacted the company and the process was great from the initial appointment to the install. The customer care rep connected me with Kelly Hoff, who is the POC in the NOVA area. Friendly, knows her stuff - everything was measured perfectly. She went over the process and spent about an hour going over the types of shades and blinds that would work the best in the windows that I have. I got to look through a lot of samples. Ultimately, I chose the cellular shades in Soft White Shimmer Weave. This style goes well against matte walls. The cellular shades I chose are top down bottom up - light filtering and blackout. I didn't get a cap put on, this will be later down the road - a cornice or something to cover the top - at this time, maybe next year. Looks good from the inside and the outside. The installer, Robert was friendly, polite, efficient, knowledgeable. Couldn't be happier. So when the time comes when you're ready to get your shades or blinds installed by S&N request Kelly.

Overall experience and products were decent. Salesperson spent a generous amount of time in consult, and we made a plan for incremental designs. The total turnaround time was under 4 weeks from design to install date. I chose an organic woven cordless blind called Ananda for primary bedroom french doors. Unfortunately the sales rep fell down on the job and failed to follow through or respond. disappointing but No matter - there are a number of companies in this space. But she killed her 5 star review.

We ordered a large 105 inch wide solar shade online from Smith and Noble. The online ordering process was straight forward and intuitive. Everything was perfect, it arrived in just a few days, the quality was great, and installation was easy. After installation, we noticed the sides of the brackets were showing and was not the clean install we had envisioned. A call into S & N where Brenda Rambo was very helpful after explaining our problem, and sending a few pictures she was able to quickly resolve the issue and promptly shipped the end plates we were missing. The end plates came in a few days later and were quickly installed. Our solar shade install is now complete and looks great thanks to Brenda’s help. We have ordered a number of products from S&N over the years and have always been pleased with the quality and great customer service.

Lachelle Sevre from Smith & Noble was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped me from the initial design phase - offering samples and suggestions, to the measurement phase - giving guidance and offering help with the measurements for some awkward windows, to the ordering, and the delivery. She was extremely patient, and very helpful every step of the way. The shades turned out wonderfully, and I would not hesitate to recommend Lachelle.

Absolutely horrible experience! We paid extra to have our shades professionally measured and every single one of the five shades is the wrong size. I have sent two sets of measurements and a pro has come again to measure, and STILL they are asking for a fourth set of measurements. I have been trying to schedule the re-measuring for over a month to no avail. It's been over three months since I first contacted smith and noble about this problem. The level of hoops they are making me jump through for their "guarantee" is appalling.

From start to finish, Smith and Noble offered top-quality products and service. We originally thought of going to an upholstery store to pick out fabrics for our windows, but they brought the shop to us at a time that was convenient for us. It really helped having samples to put directly next to our windows on whether a fabric we like was a good match. We even got to order samples online to compare a second time although we ended up going with what Jill our designer brought. The installer was very professional. The supervisor ensured all was met according to our preferences. I so am glad we did not go with our original plan with hiring someone from outside because we would then still have all the hardware sitting in my garage.😆

Absolutely horrible experience! I paid over $5,000 on the first meeting with a designer to replace the 4 pieces of the master bedroom drapes. It took almost 4 months with 5 appointments to have the correct order to be installed. Literally everyone kept making mistakes; the manufacturer, designer, installer and representatives. I have worked with four different custom drape companies before and never encountered such incompetency. Totally disappointed and extremely inconvenient!

An outstanding experience! Made a lifelong customer by their customer service!

We chose Smith &Noble as I wanted a very good US brand. It was my first time with Smith & Noble. When the drapery arrived, clearly there was a mistake. I had discussed the measurements before placing the order with my installer and a phone call with Smith & Noble. So, I was upset after the long wait. I texted the CEO Ken on his cell number which was on the quality card that came with the drapery as the quality card was not checked off or signed as was their intent. My thinking was if they had done their QA this would not have happened.
Ken was on vacation - this was late December 2019. He responded within a few minutes of receiving my text. From that time on to my customer service call with their key customer service person that Ken assigned to the issue and less than 4 days later, they simply agreed to redo the drapery to the dimensions I needed. And, this was despite my offering them a choice to lower the price point and find something that would still fit within the original budget as now we needed to double the fabric dimension. It was clear that the error could have been on either end and there was no proof of where the error in understanding crept it.

And, Smith & Noble was outstanding in ensuring that as a customer, I got what I expected! And, made simple and as professional as anyone could be. They have a lifelong customer! Thank you Ken & Jennifer and Trish!
