I inherited a 1960s, fully-caned, mod sofa-table from my chic interior decorator grandmother. But the flat binder caning had nearly disintegrated after 50+ years (and my kids finished it off with a pair of scissors). Sorto completely remade the table from scratch. It's like new, and I couldn't be happier that this family design heirloom has another life. It's gorgeous! The craftsmanship can't be beat, he did pick up and drop off, plus he's great at communicating—keeping in touch, and providing process photos via text as he completes the work. Highly recommend.

Jose restored an antique (close to 100 years old) child's wicker chair that belonged to my father as a child. He repaired so many parts that were falling apart and even replaced the seat. It took longer than expected but this was done during Covid when his help was limited, so I am not complaining. Thank you so much Jose!

Just picked up my great grandmother's 100 + year old small oak chair w rattan seat. The rattan seat was broken. I was doubtful how the rattan could be matched color wise to such an old stain and how the repair would look. It's unbelievable how well it matches, looks fabulous. Very fair pricing and easy process.

I would give Jose 6 stars if I could. Not only did he drive from Richmond to Marin to pick up and drop off my dining chairs, his craftsmanship is impeccable. Such a nice guy, hard worker, and true professional. My cane seat dining chairs have been given new life and I couldn't be happier with the results. Jose was also very accommodating of my tight schedule. I had guests coming to town and was hoping to have the dining chairs restored before their visit. Jose picked up the chairs on Monday morning and had them dropped off by noon on Friday. Super impressive and much appreciated. Thank you Jose!!
