I hired Staging Method to sell my home In Huntington Beach. I provided a video of my home (vacant) prior to our appointment & stated that it was a 2 bed/2 bath with an office. The video included every inch of the home.
She “staged” my home as a 1 bedroom with an office, leaving 1 room completely vacant and left ALL my open shelving empty!
I called her & asked for her to stage the bedroom as a bedroom, not an office ASAP because photos would be taken the following day. She had been informed of this already several days prior. She said she was busy & could not return for another 5 days!
I had to go out & purchase items for the kitchen counters that were empty, the shelves in the kitchen, the laundry room was untouched by her, the shelves in each bathroom, including the showers were empty and I moved the desk into the office and I had to stage the fireplace which was the focal point of the room. The walk in closets were also bare.
The furniture & wall hangings were too small for the scale of the rooms and the paintings blended into the wall paint. There was absolutely no “pop” of color to be found. Sitting area in the Primary was empty, assembly stickers were visible. The furniture was placed without acknowledging the beautiful harbor views. The beds were air mattresses with a quilt & throw pillows!
When she returned (with a twin bed for a queen size area), she walked in straight to the room, set up & walked out stating she was done. There was no apology, no communication and a total lack of professionalism.

Such a great experience with Sarah and her staging expertise. Staging does really make a difference when selling a house. My house had been on the market for a few months with no staging. I changed my approach and decided to stage it after all. Within a week of staging, I had offers. This just shows how much of a difference Staging really makes.
