We built a small pond in our side yard about 15 years ago. We loved the look of it, but time takes its toll, and our pond filtration system proved frustrating. We talked with Erik about rebuilding the existing area and finding a filtration system that provided a comforting sound, easy maintenance, and was raccoon-proof. We felt comfortable with his professional, congenial, and focused manner. After agreeing to his proposal, which offered multiple solutions, he came out and renewed our beautiful pond. Remember the raccoons? Well they were busy the other night. At a spry 73, I didn’t feel like dealing with it. I hesitated about calling Erik, but did, and he graciously came out to reconnect the pump. Every interaction with Erik has been responsive, honest, and warm. I’ve done a lot of projects and have no hesitation to call Erik again when we want to bring new life to our home.

Could not be happier with my experience working with Erik at Stepping Stone Landscape Design. Erik is a really nice and honest person. I liked how he never made the project or situation stressful and was always reachable and responsive. His bid was also competitive with other companies I received estimates from. He did everything he said he was going to do and the quality of work was excellent. I contacted Stepping Stone Landscape Design for two (2) reasons: a defective sprinkler control and a possible landscape remodel on a small (16x16) yard. Erik was very helpful with both. First, he offered to have his sprinkler person come out and take a look. Ultimately, he came out himself, determined the part, and replaced it only a few days after our first conversation. On the yard, Erik listened to my "vision" and provided some advice. One thing that I really appreciated about the interaction is that Erik asked what other priorities I had at home, other than the yard. That helped put things in perspective and helped me determine not to move forward, right now, with the yard remodel.
