Dylan is very knowledgeable. He looked over my car for a problem, and spent an in-depth amount of time explaining it to me as well as actually pulling out an old piston and educating me to what is going on with my car. He gave me great advice and I highly recommend Sunset Auto, and ask for Dylan!

We broke down just outside of San Andreas. We knew no one and were in a town we had no familiarity with. We went to one auto shop that couldn’t fix our over heating car. Jack happened to drive by right when we needed him! He told us to follow him to his shop. He moved all cars around and pushed others aside to work on ours immediately. He and his mechanic found our faulty thermostat and fixed it. But, they didn’t stop there. They went on to fix a couple other issues too, topped off all fluids, and sent us on our way. Jack refused payment and told us not to let something like that ruin our family vacation. That just doesn’t happen. Our family couldn’t believe how nice and thorough he was. If I didn’t live 700 miles away, Jack would be my permanent mechanic!

These folks were kind enough to help us in the middle of a road trip. They took a look at our vehicle quickly and professionally, assessed the problem, applied a quick fix, and got us back on the road! We greatly appreciate their support and wish this company the best! They told me my vehicle needed certain things to be fixed on it and then gave me a quote that was overpriced. They also had said one thing and then later said something completely different. Thank god I went to someone else who let me know what was really wrong with my car and the job cost less then $100 which was substantially lower then Sunsets quote. I don’t understand why mechanics always try an rip people off and I expected more from this shop. I was raised here, know the owner and thought I could trust them to take care of my vehicle in an honest ethical manner, sham on them. Keep your wallet and loved ones safe, don’t ever bring your vehicle here, they cannot be trusted.

Jack is a busy guy there cuz he's good at what he does. He'll test you vehicle to see what he must do to fix it's issue. He'll call you with what's wrong and how much it'll cost to get it fixed. He never charged for checking your vehicle's problem.
Quality work because he wants you to come back if you have other issues.
Do yourself a favor and check him out.

Reminds me of an old school small shop run by a guy who loves automobiles. Has always worked on his and his neighbors cars growing up. He's the kind of person you always go to when you're vehicle isn't running right. He can look at it, listen to it and then tell you exactly what's wrong with it and how to fix it. He can tell you what he's going to do to fix it and give you an estimate within a few dollars.
I'm glad that he was recommended to me and I'll be glad to recommend him to you.
