We had an unfinished master suite ... just the shell. Nothing was finished.

The bedroom would be finished like other rooms in the house, but the bathroom needed some fresh ideas. My wife and I -- not designers -- struggled with some concepts before starting to seriously doubt our ability.

Just by happenstance, we saw The Design Studio on Highway 70S. I gave them a call, and I'm so glad I did. Louise, Irene, Justin and Peter work as a strong team.

Louise went with a clean, modern look. They had excellent subcontractors who did great work, especially Ramon on tile and Javier on trim.

We're super-pleased with the result. It's the nicest master bath we've ever had.

I was referred to the Design Studio by a good friend when we needed to do some updating to our new home. We met with Louise, Irene and the team in October of 2021. They spent a lot of time with us to understand exactly what it was that we needed done. They came to our house to look at the space and assisted us with choosing colors to suit our taste and current trends. There were a few details that we were particular about; and they made excellent notes and respected our wishes. The team kept in touch with us as the project began and proceeded to the finish. The workers were friendly and very respectful. They arrived on time, left on time and cleaned up thoroughly so that we could still use our house while the project was ongoing. They were extremely accommodating to our schedule. The estimates for the project were accurate from the beginning and there were no surprises when it came time to make the final payment. They finished the project as agreed upon. The design team came to inspect after the work was completed and together, we created a punch list for any corrections that needed to be made before the final walk-through. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of work and have recommended the Design Studio to friends and family. I will definitely use them for any future projects. Their attention to scheduling and communication is second to none. Feel confident that the work will be quality and current with the decorating trends.

A warning to anyone interested in doing business with this facility. Please make sure you are clear on your budget before agreeing to a consultation with one of their designers. After agreeing to a consultation and having the designer spend about 25 minutes with me discussing window drape options/colors on just one window, I was then asked about my budget. When I told her what my budget was, I was basically met with a response like "well that can't happen." I seriously thought that she meant that the project could be completed well under budget but she meant the exact opposite. She did not ask for the consultation fee during our visit; in fact she said it would be applied to the cost of the project. A few hours later that day, the office texted me wanting to come by my house to collect the fee. I explained I was not confident that the window treatment would be completed within my budget. I received communication later that they would stay within my budget and then they sent me an invoice for the consultation fee. I ended up paying the fee because, they won't leave you alone unless you do. I have since gone with someone else and am happier. This same company completed a bathroom project for us in 2014. It had many problems and took 4 months. I should have learned my lesson then but wanted to give them a second chance. My fault.

I'm writing this review to let others know the Design Studio has been amazing to work with and we've used them for numerous home renovation projects. Everything from the great advice we received from products they recommended, the high quality products that were installed and even the install process itself was seamless. Also, we can't say enough about how great the Design Studio staff was throughout the entire process from the initial meeting to install. We would highly recommend the Design Studio to any looking to upgrade their home.

Louise was readily available for any questions I had through the process of redoing my floors. Irene was always friendly and inviting when I walked through their door. The men who installed my carpet were nice and very efficient. The outcome is better than I'd imagined! I'm so very grateful.

Design Studio has been a wonderful experience for my husband and me. Remodeling is a challenge. And we have had some challenges. But they have walked us thru this journey in a very professional and CARING way. Again, CARING. That is key. I know that Louise is devoted to provide a smooth and great experience for each client. She has class character, and a devotion to do the ‘right thing always’. Which sets her and her staff apart from others. I hope if you are looking to have help with decorating, or a redesign…Or whatever your needs. You will look to Design Studio and feel confident that they are there to help u. Louise and her new Assistant Designer Jennifer have such great design knowledge. They are a fantastic team. Irene is amazing as a scheduler and staying in touch. She is a ‘TRUE customer service person’. All of that works together and has helped us have a great experience with our remodel with Design Studio.

I was initially excited to work with this company on a large remodel project we had planned for our home. However, I've been very disappointed in the level of communication and care I've received. I was charged a $450 "design fee" to have them come out with their builder to view my home. We were not impressed with their builder who did not seem confident in the scope of work we were hoping to do nor eager to earn our business so decided to go with a different option. Upon relaying this information with Louise and her team about the builder, I heard no further contact from them. I eventually asked for a refund of my money since we had not received any promised designs or anything further in relation to our projects. I was told I would only be refunded $200 and that they "stood behind their work" (none of which was done nor sent to me even after multiple asks).

I would warn others against using this team for your designs (or at the very least avoid paying for ANYTHING until you have something CONCRETE from them). It seems they are lacking in terms of their responsiveness to customer concerns and simply want to take your money without doing any work. Disappointed is putting it lightly and, although I'm out $250, I'm happy to have dodged a bullet in working with this company for such an important project. I was hoping for a much better experience and this company has fallen quite short of that. I would definitely recommend against using this team for your efforts.
