Seriously one of the best places we’ve stayed. Gorgeous views, full kitchen, roomy enough for the whole family to visit and relax. The back deck is one of the best parts with lots of seating along with a fire pit. The rooms were amazing with large tubs with the best views. Very private and intimate and was EXACTLY what we were looking for to host our small wedding. We had the reception in the barn were there’s games and the best dancing/party environment. Beautifully set up and very tasteful. I seriously can’t say enough good things. We definitely want to come back!!

Phenomenal rental overlooking the Pacific ocean. The string lights make it even more magical after sunset. Perfect for our family gathering of 11 adults, 2 babies and 3 small dogs who all thoroughly enjoyed both the common and private spaces, and the constant indoor-outdoor flow. The hosts have done their best to anticipate guests needs and respond promptly to suggested improvements. We felt very lucky to have found this place and intend to come back regularly. It's absolutely beautiful.

Just returned from three glorious days at The Driftwood Lodge celebrating my birthday with family ages 4 to 75. I can’t say how perfect a place this is for family gatherings. Each of the five bedrooms has a wood burning stove, very comfortable king size bed with cozy linens and ocean facing view. The common area has a wood burning fireplace, comfy seating and two large dining tables. The kitchen is well equipped. The outside area is the true gem with a deck that is partially enclosed with glass and has a heater for chilly days/nights, a wonderful sofa and chairs. The grassy meadow area has a fire pit, picnic table, BBQ and hot tub, all overlooking the beautiful Pacific. My family wants to return every year!

Accommodations, upper room and patio/lanai was fabulous! The room itself was spacious, the gas heater fired up fast, ample hot water for the shower and the bed was very comfortable and cleverly raised so that you can see the wonderful vista of the Pacific Ocean, and sunset! The clubhouse and deck, lawn view was amazing, the kitchen was just enough, Fantastic getaway for a glorious wedding. We’d stay here again!

Absolutely stunning view, perfect accommodations and sense of privacy. We had 4 families and everyone had their own private space (and bathroom!). Definitely will be traveling back to this amazing spot. Dinners overlooking the pacific fireside were epic

As a wedding photographer, Driftwood Lodge is a dream location to capture unforgettable moments! The setting is breathtaking—sweeping ocean views, towering redwoods, and the serene atmosphere of a private estate create an absolutely magical backdrop for every shot.

The Lodge’s on-site accommodations are perfect for multi-day celebrations, giving couples and guests plenty of opportunities to relax and connect. And from a photographer’s perspective, this also means more time to capture intimate, candid moments that tell the couple’s story. The event barn, complete with games and nighttime festivities, adds an extra touch of fun and spontaneity, ideal for vibrant photos full of life.

I highly recommend it to any couple looking to create a wedding day that’s both beautiful and authentically theirs.

We booked the Driftwood Lodge as our wedding venue in early June, and this little slice of heaven is nothing short of amazing! We booked 5 days with our 12 guests and it was the perfect spot for everyone to stay, hang out, have a good time, and have a small ceremony overlooking the insane views of the ocean. We had looked and communicated with a few different places, and the owners (Orrin and Katie) of the Driftwood lodge were the most warm and welcoming of all of them, which is what initially attracted us to this place. We were able to tour twice to sort out details, and they were super flexible and easygoing during the entire process, answering any questions that we had. My guests were stunned at the views, the beautiful weather, and how cozy the lodge was in general. We can't stop talking about it! Upon seeing our photos, many people have asked for links to the Driftwood lodge for possible stays in the future. For family getaways and especially for my small "elopement", this is the perfect spot. Thank you Orrin and Katie for a wonderful experience and we hope to return one day for another getaway.

My extended family started our New Year at Driftwood Lodge. It exceeded our expectations. The property is gorgeous with its spectacular views, old redwood forest and private trail to a roaring creek. The 5 private suites worked out perfectly for our group of 8 adults and 5 children. The kids were delighted with all the things to do especially petting the goats and sweet cat. We even spotted two bald eagles. The owner was very responsive and extremely helpful. He suggested we drive a short distance to go tide pooling and we are so glad we did. We look forward to returning to this one of a kind property in the future.
