This an update to a review that I originally gave 5 stars too. I am changing to a one star . If you use this company just hope you have to have them come out for any follow up.
All they can say "per the agreement". I had some plants die in the first year. I have a drip system so I know they were getting enough water. I even water with a sprinkler in the winter when it was warm enough. The plant was still dying. I finally decided to take a closer look as to why it was still dying and the plants that were replaced I found that 1/3 of the root ball was above ground. They just made it look good by gathering mulch up covering the exposed root ball. Yes they have pictures of their great work in the file so they can tell you "per the agreement ".I fixed myself correctly and plant took right off. By the way it is pretty hardy plant. It was 6 phlox. They want your money, but that's it. I spent close to $20,000 on this project just be told "per the agreement".
I had Mulhalls do my last place and I thought I would keep the money local. So I called UPL. Big mistake. Mulhalls took pride in their work unlike here. NEVER a problem and it was even a bigger job.
I know Gretna is growing and a strong word of advice if you are planning a large landscaping project, go to the professionals like Mulhalls or Lanohas. They know their stuff and they stock and care for their own planting. UPL does not have their own stock. Huge difference.

We scheduled a pool install in 2023 for our backyard. Bobby came out and did the entire layout and developed a plan to follow. We were swimming in July last year and all our plantings were installed in July/August. Bobby was there managing the progress and answered any questions promptly. We weren’t sure how many would survive but UPL said they would replace plantings in the spring that died. We lost one small ornamental which UPL replaced this spring. We couldn’t be happier. Friends and neighbors compliment us all the time on the complete transformation of our yard. Thank you UPL for everything.

Matt and his crew did an amazing job with the project in the backyard. We were looking at creating an efficient drainage system and adding an incredibly manicured landscape to the backyard and around our newly built deck. They were professional and thorough in the whole process! Absolutely recommend!

We contracted with UPL to replace our patio. Bruce was outstanding to work with from beginning to end. He designed a beautiful plan based on our requirements and was the project manager for the job. The workmen were friendly, knowledgeable and worked hard to make the design come to life. We were very pleased and would highly recommend UPL to anyone wishing quality landscaping work.

High quality and professional company from the design team to the install crew to the general managers. New paver patio, sitting wall, steps, and fireplace. They had to do lots of work by hand while working in tight spaces and they did the job right. UPL totally transformed our backyard and we love it!

They did what we asked them to do after they drew up a plan for better accessibility to our home. The project did not involve any plantings. It may take awhile for us to determine if the plan will work as we hoped it would as we are not in residence at the location now and will not be for several months. Hopefully, within the next year or so we will be able to give a better assessment of the value and workability of the project.

Urban Prairie Landesign has been our landscaping specialist since 2010. They have provided services to our 9 locations, including spring/fall clean up. As well as overseeing and maintaining all of our landscaping needs. The services we have received have been excellent and we would recommend them!
