It is a great honor to recommend Carol Woodard to you as the finest interior designer I have ever worked with. I was extremely lucky to have Carol to work with me and wife throughout the entire renovation for my house. The result is very pleasant, my wife and I are enjoying our “new” house every day.

What is special about Carol is that she is really helping to design “our” house, a well-designed house that is tailored to our own preference and needs. For the first couple of meeting with Carol, she focused on understanding us, what our daily needs and color preferences are. Then she would combine these understanding along with her design ideas, and we like the result very much. Powered by many years experiences in interior design, Carol is so knowledgeable and can always provide great solution to the problem we are trying solve.

We also appreciate how Carol helped us co-ordinate with architect, builder, and suppliers. She helped me stay on top of the entire renovation schedule, at what time, what will be needed from which party. These enabled all parties aligned and move together towards the same goal. Without Carol’s help, it would take much longer for my house project to complete.

I would recommend Carol to anyone who is looking for a professional interior designer. I am sure you will receive the same satisfactory result as we do.

I would like to heartily recommend Carol Woodard to you as the finest, most professional and pleasant interior designer I have ever worked with. Carol incorporates all the qualities of an excellent communicator by listening to your needs and wishes, using your ideas along with hers, and then shows and tells you the resultant look that can be achieved. That "look" will always be the best available.
My initial marvel at Carol began when she integrated our redecorating effort with the architect and builder so that all parties were coordinated and heading toward a common result. She developed design ideas with everyone and was sure the design could be achieved within the stated budget and time restraints. This approach assured the final "look" would be what I wanted and could afford.
I really appreciate the way Carol was straight forward with discussions about money. As usual, my redecorating was carefully budgeted but costs are seldom firm at the beginning of a project. Carol worked with me, the builder, and other vendors to achieve a wonderful new "look" for me at a reasonable cost. Where a lower cost option was available we all could discuss it and, sometimes, reduce costs.
Carol has enriched my life with her knowledge of interior design, what options are available, what colors mix and match, and how to creatively present these qualities in a very livable environment. All problems dissolved with her professional care and sense of humor. My home now has the "look" I wanted.

It is my honor to offer this review for Carol Woodard, a woman whom I have known both professionally and personally for many years. Carol truly is the consummate professional whose entire career has been devoted to the practice of and promotion of the profession of Interior Design. She has held innumerable positions on industry boards as president, board member, committee member and more. Most importantly, Carol shares the wealth of her knowledge with many students that she has mentored over the years.

For the past 13 years, Carol has been a customer of the business that my husband and I own, a strictly to the trade furnishings showroom in San Jose. I believe this relationship gives me a unique perspective to really know just how knowledgeable and professional Carol is in her design practice. It is one thing to put your best foot forward in front of a client but quite another when working with a vendor where the depth of knowledge of the design business and drilling down to complex details of custom items becomes critical. Carol is a strong advocate for her clients and is able to convey the clients wishes in every small nuance of shared vision.

From my perspective, the relationship with your vendors is equally important to great design ability. After all, if you can dream it but can't execute it, where are you.
