Work of Art Landscape designed and installed the irrigation system for our new home (on a half-acre) 25 years ago and it is still in operation today. Later they designed and installed our outdoor lighting system and for the past seven years have supported our work as passionate home-gardeners with their fabulous landscape maintenance team. Most recently, Work of Art Landscape worked with us to redesign our lighting system to keep up with the maturing landscape and upgrade to energy-saving LED bulbs. My husband and I were in search of a Landscaper at the Visalia Home Show this spring when we met Mike Perez with Work of Art Landscape. After discussing our wants, needs, and several ideas, Mike created a beautiful backyard with his 3D Computer Design program. This program helped us visualize what our yard could be and ultimately helped us with our decision to proceed with Work of Art Landscape. The design included an Outdoor gas Fireplace, paver patio, pergola, full landscaping with irrigation and electrical. Art Perez, the owner of Work of Art Landscape, and the crew were amazing. The crew were efficient, respectful, and their quality of work was excellent. We felt very much apart of the process and enjoyed our trip to the nursery with Art Perez to choose the trees, plants, etc. for the yard. The crew has continued to come to our home and check on the health of the plants and yard, the follow up has exceeded our expectation. The end result was beyond anything we could have imagined and we would like to thank Work of Art Landscape for our outdoor escape.

My first experience with Work of Art Landscape was at my prior job when I was put in charge of taking care of the landscape. There was over an acre of landscape that included trees, bushes, shrubs and grass. We had tried other landscapers and had even tried taking care of it ourselves. It just got to be too much to handle. We had plants that were dieing due to the watering system being old and in need of repairing. I called Work of Art not knowing what to expect. I had heard about them but didn't have any personal experience. We started with doing a weekly maintenance. I soon realized, as did they, that if we didn't do some repair work that we would be chasing our tail to get it looking good. I sat down with Art and Michael to get a plan of attack. It was decided that the watering system itself needed to be replaced to achieve what we both agreed upon. Their team of guys got to work and in no time the system was in great shape. It has been over 4 years now and the landscaping looks great. I know longer work there but see Art and Michael at home shows a couple of times a year. I still call them with questions regarding my own lawn and they are always happy to take the time and answer them. I have no reservation recommending Work of Art for your commercial needs.

Work of Art Landscaping just completed a built-in back yard BBQ, fire pit, and landscaping for new and revitalized planter areas. Mike was very pleasant to deal with on initial consultation. I had done some prior consultation with other companies as far as Fresno and Bakersfield and didn’t feel comfortable proceeding. As soon as I met Mike and had the initial consultation I knew I would be using their services. Mike understood my vision and made helpful suggestions to broaden my vision at an affordable cost. The crew is knowledgeable and professional and frankly besides doing a great job, I really felt like I got my money’s worth. Art, the owner personally met with me many times and attended to my many questions. He went above and beyond my expectations.
In addition, the work was done quickly and seamlessly. I explained my desire to have some of the work done in time for my daughter’s birthday party. Art and the crew Jesse, Oscar and Felix worked tirelessly to meet my deadline but did not cut corners to do so. I was extremely impressed with the work they did. It was comforting knowing everyone was on the same page. I was receiving compliments the very first day they started work! Art, Mike and his crew were a pleasure working with. I would strongly recommend using Work of Art for all your landscaping and backyard home improvement projects. Thanks again Art!

We are so glad that we chose Work of Art to landscape our backyard. It turned out better than we ever imagined it would. The waterfall is a beautiful masterpiece that looks amazingly natural, and all of our friends agree to that. We are also pleased with the plants and trees that were chosen to lend themselves to a tropical theme. Almost every evening, we sit out on the backyard patio to have dinner and enjoy the beautiful oasis that was created. It helps us relax from the business of the day. Now, even one year later, we are benefiting from follow up instruction on trimming and other plant concerns. Art has been very gracious in getting back to us to answer questions and even come out to check on a couple of sprinklers. All in all, this is a great team of guys who are obviously experts in their field. We now have an incredible backyard that we will enjoy for many years to come.
