My wife and I purchased a building and reached out to Carole to help us design the interior. The building was built in the late 1800's or early 1900's and was originally a church. We wanted to maintain the historic look of the building, and add some modern elements. Carole has a fantastic eye for design! She designed a very usable space with an amazing mix of modern elements. There is a saying that everything in life is timing, and we feel so fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time to acquire Carole Wylie's masterpiece the Rodine house. After working 3 decades in Detroit, we decided to retire to the San Diego area and my sole requirement (not my wife's) was to have a beautiful view. As our realtor drove us up the driveway and we saw the house from the outside I said to my wife that this was our house-the view was magnificent. Imagine our surprise to find the house completely matched the view in grandeur, styling, and design. The high ceilings, spacious rooms, tall doors, and huge windows with a magnificent view out of every window is staggering. The attention to detail, quality and small details is present everywhere. We have seen lots of magnificent houses in our lifetime but perhaps more notable after living here nearly a decade is how livable and flexible this house is. Lots of houses are built to impress but are sometimes awkward or uncomfortable to live in. This house is built to enjoy and live in, and yes all who see it are blown away. We have had huge parties, lot's of house guests, and then the two of us living here daily and the house serves perfectly every purpose. Every day is a delight. We enjoy the comments of our guests who usually say they feel like they have been to a 5 star resort after being here. We agree and are so thankful that Carole designed our house!

What can I say about working with Carole? First, she is responsive, has a great eye for design and in general, is a terrific person. We are new to the area and have worked with several other professionals who generated designs that were not practical. I called Carole out of the blue and immediately she came up with a solution which was both practical and looked great! Carole designed our absolutely beautiful home! She was professional, artistic, personable, and meticulous in every detail. We lost our first custom-designed home in the Cedar Fire, which I never thought could be replaced, but Carole designed our spectacular new home and I couldn't be happier.

After consulting many contractors, we ended up choosing one whom she had worked with previously and gave a positive recommendation to, and we were so pleased with his work that we have since recommended him to several of our friends. Being in the legal field for over 30 years, it was very important to us to choose someone with a good track record for honestly and quality of work. She will work with you to create your vision while adding ideas that will make your project beautiful and functional. She has a great work ethic. Building a home can be stressful and expensive.
