I've been in twice now for things to make the backpacks I designed. I asked if they happen to sell zippers. The lady said "yes, we have zipper by the yard, but it's the kind you have to sew in" great, exactly what I was looking for. She asked how many zipper pulls and I told her. I paid for the zippers and the fabric I picked out. During the interaction, she was made sure to tell me multiple times that it was the kind you sew in, in a very condescending tone.

Second time I went in, I needed more zippers. I asked for 3 yards of each color with 10 zipper pulls for each color. She was so flustered and rude the entire interaction, telling me that it was too many pulls, and they were running low, while a guy pulled out the bags of pulls which were totally full of them. She was so angry that I was asking for the zipper stuff, saying that they usually reserve them for "the upholsterers". She clearly didn't want to sell me any, but instead of saying she couldn't sell them to me, she was condescending and rude and giving such horrible tone and attitude. She was also incredibly rude to the man who was also there working, yelling at him several times while I was there.

I offered to pay extra for the extra pulls, which I was happy to do. I would much rather support a local business than order online, but I'm guessing the attitude is because I'm not the type of person who normally walks into their store (alternative, piercings and tattoos I mean). I can't think of why else I was met with such hostility and condescension, while she gave a completely different (nice) attitude to the other customers in the store and on the phone.

I’m just over the moon with the quality of workmanship that went into these chairs!! This is a Sunbrella fabric, yet it is so soft! These are antique chairs my Mother had & I love them!! I’m just so thrilled with them! Thanks everyone!!

Amazing fabrics for the re-upholster and repair of my 20yo couch & loveseat. We went looking for something, anything new and comparable and couldn't find anything -- most furniture is in drab greys right now. When I saw this bolt of textured orangish-red fabric hanging from a rack I fell in love. We love that we chose to save this couch and loveseat and not send it to a landfill. The price was comparable to buying a new set, so it wasn't a cheaper alternative, but I did get EXACTLY what I wanted. Thank you!

I found Fabrics That Go when I first moved to Tucson in 2011. A quick browse turned into a marathon. The quality and range of stock can be overwhelming but it is worth digging for the treasures that are to be found. I have had fabrics that I would not have found any where else. The collection of buttons is peerless. You have rejuvenated chairs for me and now that I live in Scotland you are still the first place I look for inspiration and something different. You have advised for and against fabrics and suggested things I wouldn't have thought of. Your passion has infected me. Thank you.

LOVE Fabrics That Go! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I absolutely love coming in to see what they have in vinyl and upholstery fabric.
