Lighting Design and Show Room was the best shopping experience for my new house. When you see the store from the highway, you might think it's only a lighting store, but it's not. It has furniture, fans, beautiful home decor, beds, and a room in the back with tools, windows, doors, and lots more. They have a great clearance selection too. I was so happy I found them on Facebook, because I never thought I could find so many things for my new home, in one store, with awesome prices. Colby, the sales associate that helped me, went above and beyond to help. I couldn't ask for a better shopping experience. If you are building a new home, remodeling, or simply wanting to decorate or upgrade your home, you must try shopping at Lighting and Design, also known as Lighting Showroom in Oxford, Alabama. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

I bought Minka Aire ceiling fan when this place was a different store. I’ve called the current store to order a new receiver for the fan and no one ever returns my calls with a price. The First Lady said she’d call back the next day. I called back two days later and the man told new they were waiting on price from Minka Aire. It’s been over a week and no one will get back with me. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Went in today to look for lighting for living room. I was the only person in the store and passed by 3 workers. Not a hello or can I help you. I will never go back. They say shop local and you get this. I will go to Lowes.

Needed unusual light tube.
