We wanted to update our landscape lighting in our front yard to LED and fix a few broken ones in the backyard. We were spending a lot on holiday lighting so we also wanted to incorporate colors during the holidays in our new plan so as not to incur an additional yearly expense for holidays. We contacted one company that was pricey with only a 1 year warranty so we contacted Todd Meyer, owner of North Star Outdoor Lighting LLC, for a second opinion and were so happy we did.

Todd came to our house and outlined options and suggestions that would provide exactly what we want for daily and holiday use at a very affordable price and with great warranties. We were very impressed with his knowledge of the trade, communication, personality and professionalism. He also impressed us with his attention to the safety of his team, especially in this Arizona heat. They showed up exactly when he said they would and with a great work ethic. They pulled out our old system and installed a completely new system and cleaned up absolutely everything.

We did a walk down with Todd after the job was complete. He wanted to make sure he explained everything and that we were happy before he left. They finished in the early afternoon, and he wanted our feedback after we saw the lights at night and said he would come back the next day to make any changes we wanted. Everything was absolutely perfect because of his team’s attention to detail and totally listening to us and understanding what we wanted.

We would recommend him in a heartbeat. We just wish Todd did other trades because he is the best.

Todd came out promptly with a fair quote, the job proceeded perfectly, and the house looks beautiful! He made suggestions on where, and how many lights we should have and was well informed in the types of lighting available. The job was completed within the quote he had provided, and he even threw in a mini light to accent a tiki we have by our pool. Weeks later, this light quit working and he came out at no charge and replaced it with a better soft light. Very appreciative in these days of a business owner with honesty & integrity.
