Where is zero stars? I was very disappointed with my experience with United Corporate Furnishings over the telephone. This business is listed as the only Steelcase furniture dealer in Sacramento. I was interested in their Gesture office chair and I called to confirm that their showroom was open to the public (i.e. individual consumers and not just corporate buyers). I was told I should call ahead to speak with a sales rep so they can arrange a demo for me. I called three times during my lunch break to make arrangements.

Two of my calls were transferred to sales reps and I left messages for each. I spoke to a nice lady the third time who assured me that I would get a call back. It's been two days since those messages and I have not heard a peep from a sales rep.

I wish there was another place I could demo the chair because I would definitely like to try it before I buy one. But the service I experienced here was inexcusable and I won't be visiting their showroom any time soon.
