I bought a rocker glider for my nursery from Shumake. They made the process of buying and delivering so easy! I had found the chair I wanted from a La-Z-Boy store in Birmingham and they were asking double what I paid at Shumake. Shumake unfortunately didn’t have the model in store but I was able to order it in the fabric and color that I wanted. And the chair came sooner than they estimated. I will always get my La-Z-Boy furniture from Shumake from now on.

Bought a La-Z-Boy recliner. The salesperson, Shelley Vinzant, was awesome. She put up with me while I tried out each recliner in their HUGE selection of La-Z-Boy rocker recliners. I was late arriving due to my work hours, and she never once rushed me to make a decision. I appreciate the hometown experience I received at Shumake Furniture!!!

I was told at the home show if I purchase a chair from this store, they would haul our old chair away for no charge and donate it to a charity.
Upon delivery, the delivery man said they would take it for a fee of $20.00.
This is not what I was told.
They were paid the $20.00 by check.
I felt this was a very dishonest act by this establishment.

The sales lady was real sweet and kind. And times have been tough business wise on everyone, prices were a little higher. Tan most places but she worked on price with us a bit. Supply and demand was evident throughout the store.
I didnt however like the fact, the finance part of it was a surprise. And i will pay off early due to it being on a card and not really thru shumake or a local finance company. And my downpayment ended up being more than i wanted to place down, that should of factored in during financing.

Got a quote for furniture for our new home on February 26th, 2022, called to confirm quote to pick up the cashiers check and all of a sudden the pricing went up $2000. Absolute terrible customer service!!!!! Wouldn’t honor their pricing and quote. If I could rate the customer service zero stars I would. I’m in tears and will have to find my furniture elsewhere. Big fail Shumake Furniture!!!!!!

We will not be back or recommend this place to anyone. When we got there the lady helping us really didnt seem to want to help us. We picked out a couch and they were trying to talk us into getting it a different day bc the loading or delivery guys were not there. I told her my husband and I would load it bc we wanted it that day. They still wanted us to let them deliver 2 days later. It was getting close to closing time but we ran home got our trailer, loaded it and was pulling out of the parking lot at the exact time they were closing. 4 people helped us with the cushions but it was more like to get us gone. We paid over 1,000 and hate the couch. The cushions have to be adjusted EVERY TIME u sit on it.

Bought a La-Z-Boy recliner from Shumake, Shelly was the sales person, with taxes I paid $281 less for the exact same recliner, same cover other than color but exact same material than what Huntsville La-Z-Boy store wanted!
