Several positive aspects:
While shopping for a sofa about a year ago, the female sales rep (so wish I could remember her name) was perfect. Didn’t stalk me yet was available for questions and suggestions when I asked.
I special ordered and had to wait but not an out of the ordinary timeframe.
Every encounter has been professional and courteous.
Delivery was priced FAR better than other furniture stores.
Delivery guys were careful and considerate of my time and home.
I had a warranty concern. Sally, in the store, handled everything kindly and timely.
The delivery guy made a wise call to just replace a section without taking my whole sofa, got the info needed and called his office.
When they returned yesterday with the replacement, they were quick and professional and even put the decorative pillows back in place before leaving!!!

My husband and I walked into The Furniture Shoppe in Henegar Al. While we were looking around, I finally had to approach a salesman who was setted on recliner arm, to locate more of what we were looking for.
We did make a purchase but the transaction was very impersonal!! Like we were an interruption.

Wonderful experience! The sales experience with Justin was superb. He listened to exactly what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction—helping to get everything I needed. Shanna is an excellent communicator making the ordering and delivery process top notch. And the delivery men were amazing! They were courteous, hardworking, and thorough! We will only shop at the Furniture Shoppe from here on out. Thank y’all!

Very rude. Came here to unload a skid steer for the tornado clean up, and the white head man came out saying, "You can't leave this here. I told him I was not leaving it they were driving it across the road. To clean up tornado damage.

Up until today, I would have recommended them. We bought a Temper Pedic mattress Jan 26 and was told that we had 90 days to return it if we needed to. Had to keep it at least 30 days. My husband called today, Feb 23 to let them know that we would be returning it because I can not sleep on it. We were told that we can't return it for a refund by the same guy, Lee, who sold us the mattress and told us that we could. He told my husband that we can exchange it or get store credit. We have bought other things in the past from them but will not do business with them again. I hate that this happened because we always try to support our local businesses. But I will not be recommending The Furniture Shoppe in Henagar Al to anyone.

Don’t waste your time...worst retail experience and service to date personally. Both Pushy and somehow indifferent at the same time which lead me to going further up the road to Thomas and sons furniture (now owned and operated by Akins furniture)and buying from them. If you want to be treated like somebody and receive excellent service might as well keep driving.

They have a great selection and great prices. Their sales associates are very helpful, and their finance plan is good. Their normal finance period is for 12 months interest free.
