5 HUGE STARS for The Woodway and their team! I purchased a new pellet stove from them and the whole experience has been A+. I dealt with Kim and Bailie at the front desk and both were friendly and efficient and answered all of my questions and concerns regarding the certification process and paperwork for the Borough. All communication (email and text) was on point and I was never left in the dark about what was happening.

Clint and Caleb were the installers and were equally outstanding! Great communication, straight-forward installation and the quality of work was exceptional. They took great care to ensure that all aspects of the installation (and clean up) were done to my satisfaction. Caleb also walked me through the owner's manual and helped me understand a few key points to follow up on.

I can say that The Woodway has the BEST customer service in town and I will continue to do more business with them!

So my wife and I bought a Blaze King Princess with pedestal base, fan kit, and stove pipes. We installed everything ourselves without issue except the fan kit. As per the instructions, the screw holes would not line up. So we called Patrick at Woodway. After asking the model and what the problem was, he said he needed to get someone else to help us. He put us on hold, about 3 minutes, then finally came back and said that the person he wanted us to talk to was with another customer. He asked for and received my cell number and promised to have that person call us back as soon as they were done with the customer. We called at 3:23pm and they close at 6:00pm. We NEVER RECEIVED a call back. We waited over 2 1/2 hours for the call. Finally after 6:00pm, I had to make a decision as we needed the stove for a heat source in the house. I finally got the fan kit installed but had to man handle it into place putting scratches on our new stove. You think they would return a phone call after you spend thousands of dollars at their store. We are not impressed. And if we had the option, we would return the stove. Next time I’ll make the trip to Anchorage to get our stove. At least they call you back.

Overall not a terrible experience with the woodway but for an expensive installation, they installed cheap OSB instead of finished plywood in my upstairs living area where the pipe is exposed. I provided feedback that I would have liked having another option had I known they were installing cheap and ugly OSB in my living space because this install is already so expensive, but the staff were very defensive over the phone and said I could do that myself. Now I have another project on my plate and get to redo their work.

This place is awesome! They have everything you might need to keep warm and cosy in the winter. I bought a nice axe here! The Staff are super knowledgeable and kind. I must have talked the wood stove sales guy’s ear off, but he was a total gentleman about it and patiently answered all of my questions. I will come back here and get more things. Cool store, super laid back and very friendly. Great prices too!

Very knowledgeable & customer-focused. Woodway isn't trying to pressure you into a sale, they're hoping to help you find the best option for you & your family. Prices are fair to excellent, and we get the feeling that they're educating us on both Pros & Cons for each stove/fuel source we looked at.

So we bought a house in 2020. We have called the woodway every year since then. They keep saying they offer no on site support for stove. Why are you a dealer if u don't support what you sell? Will think twice before going there again.
