We needed two ceiling fans and eight recessed can lights with absolutely no idea of any details. Thomas, the salesman greeted us and with no pressure and plenty of information took us through it all to allow us to make informed decisions. The huge showroom was daunting the first two times through, but Thomas allowed us to wander undisturbed. Then we had more questions and again, he helped us. We thank you Thomas for helping us buy exactly what we wanted!

I purchased a dining room light fixture and 3 coordinating island fixtures 10 months ago. We received the dining room fixture quickly and 10 months later have still not received the other 3 fixtures. I have patiently called every 2 months to be reassured they were going to arrive in June, then July, then October, and now end of December, as it’s on a boat somewhere. I was also given a lecture by an employee that “it’s out of our control.”
Perhaps, if you discontinued utilizing vendors who list items for sale but don’t deliver them in a reasonable time, you would regain some control. You could also develop a “back order list” and initiate calls to customers and update them rather than making the customer initiate the call and wait on hold to get a status update. Thank you for the refund, we were able to find a local store with something that works who arranged to have the items drop shipped directly to our home next week.
***Addendum 12/11/23: re “owner response”. There are significant mistruths in owners response to my post. I initiated every call for update, over the 10 month waiting period. Cancellation of the order and reordering another option was NEVER offered, only the next date the order was expected. After hearing the date was again delayed we asked for a refund. Truth matters!

This store was amazing! Illuminations has a wide variety to choose from, and it was very affordable, my family referred me and have been going to illuminations for years. The customer service was also a strong point at this store. Thomas was very professional and had a great attitude while helping me find exactly what I wanted, I am very satisfied with my purchase and will come back for more! I strongly recommend to anyone looking for long lasting affordable lighting fixture with a well range to choose from!

This review is my review based on the interactions with this business. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for lighting, ceiling fans or any other household furnishing.

We purchased a ceiling fan from this company back in February 22nd and waited about 2-3 weeks for delivery (to the store, not my home, which means a 45 minute drive). I installed the fan a few weeks later and immediately noticed it was not operating properly. The fan would violently shake and make popping sounds. The fan would shake so much that the LED light eventually popped off. On April 13th I called Illuminations and was told I would I have a new fan control ordered to see if it would fix the issue. I was told we would try this first then if it didn’t work we would replace the whole fan. I waited 15 days before a new part was available which it wasn’t shipped to me, it meant another 45 minute drive. At this point my wife and I decided to go another route and we returned the fan. Now we were never told there were any refund stipulations or restrictions. Now we were only given a store credit instead of a refund. Why would I want to buy another item from a company who sold me a defective item then required me to make multiple trips in order to fix the problem? Again this is my interaction with Illuminations, but I would not recommend this store to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find a big box store or another retailer.
